There's always been a certain charm about the original Splinter Cell that seems to makes it more fun to revisit than the many sequels that would follow. From Lambert's funny reactions to botching objectives to the impeccably moody atmosphere, Splinter Cell is still a very fun and immersive game all these years later. The stealth mechanics are rather simple and have obviously been refined as the series has went on, but they're still effective and satisfying. This is a highly recommended classic in the stealth genre.
