Fundamentally, this game is fun. It has a fun premise, fun enemies, goofy scenario, fun and goofy items, it has funny troll potential with the gift wrapping mechanic, it is a fun game.

However, it has big issues:

-enemies attacking post death
-unrestricted generation that places buildings into eachother
-lack of tutorial hurts a lot, the cauldron works as it should but it is never explained how it works (in case you are wondering a recipe can have 2, 3 or 4 ingredients, once you add that number of ingredients it makes a potion automatically, look at the board to see which ingredients were right or wrong, get the right ingredients in the right order to get the cure for that village, then purge the plague)
-this is not a bug but a frustrating mechanic, the pickup interaction has a 2 second cooldown for some reason

The game is cool, but severely undercooked. It does seem to be getting patches frequently in the first day, so here's me hoping it'll be bug-free soon.

Awesome game, if you're unsure about purchasing the game, first check that Sony isn't at it again, then if they aren't messing things up, watch the trailer. It is most definitely totally not propaganda. Then join the HELLDIVERS!

So simple, just thrust and shoot, but the further along the more possibilities and complexities! Things are unlocked over time, so you get to know each new mod tree, weapon and body one by one, so that once you have everything unlocked you'll be combining them in fun ways, not trying to figure out what does what. Once you are at that point, you can make countless combinations, and that's before wild mods come in! They add a lot of spice to your builds and have the potential to turn your games into chaos. Fun!
