One of the greatest games of all time, unchanged beyond a slightly updated look for modern audiences, you might say they updated their journal

Truly the comeback Bioware has desperately needed! Also the lore dump we have desperately needed to tie together all the clues from the previous games!

This is a fantastic game! The first time any "stardew-valley-like" has really truly hit the mark for me. It's still somewhat unpolished, but what's already in this game is just incredibly impressive. It's a soulful, feelgood experience with great dialogue, fun cut-scenes, lots of different skills to level up in, and gameplay I feel I would miss if I went back to Stardew Valley at this point in time. I've played dozens of games trying to be the next Stardew Valley, this is the first one I can say is "It"!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience! It still has a way to go to be a great game but it's definitely worth a playthrough. If they get the stronghold system into the game that'd be a huge plus

I died, got enslaved and actually made more money than I had at any one point in the game thus, definitely recommend

I'm still struggling with bugs in this game, months after I first purchased it. I love what I am able to play of the game, but the bugs are just killing my joy with it and untill a serious bug fixing patch shows up I can't recommend this game.

The creators of this game should read the Lean Startup. They've gotten quite a ways since it first came out, but they're not working near fast enough to have such an early launch of an early access game - this gives the early access opportunity a bad name. I will come back to this game every now and then, and if they alter enough, fast enough, then I'll be happy to give a good review. For now the speed of innovation should be picked up, don't try to make everything perfect, add features and request user feedback, that's how you get a good game, fast.

Hands down one of the best RPGs in a very long time. The best part: It doesn't take itself very seriously. It's filled with witty occurences and characters, even some of the enemies are hands down ridiculous, which gives the game so much character. The reactivity of the game, the physics of it all is probably one of the more impressive ones I've seen in gaming thus far, how different types of matter reacts with one another, especially how you can strategize that during the turn based combat system is really in my opinion quite mindblowing, and one of the first times I have enjoyed a turn based system of this kind. A definite, and HUGE bonus is that the game doesn't tell you what to do, and in many occurences you actually have to guess that something is actually a quest, even though you will never get a quest log or quest marker for it, you may still at the same time get experience points for completing them. That kind of intuition in a game is something I've long saught after, all the way back to the days of arcanum, baldur's gate and fallout, as gamers we have become bereft of good RPG gaming experiences for a long time now and I am so grateful for this game and how it really brings so much fresh and old material together into the game of the year thus far. It remains to be seen what Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity may achieve, but for the moment this is my favourite game in years, and definitely of this year.
