DO NOT BUY even at a 95% sale- buggy controls, frame rate drops even at lower quality & an unnecessarily complicated control scheme for each character. It's no wonder that it's on a 95% sale when it just released last year.

Masterpiece.

RATING: 10/10

The combat is top-notch but the open-world setting is pretty pointless for such a linear game. Story missions which should unlock sequentially have to be unlocked by completing repetitive side quests.

The "chapters" are 1-5 minutes of cinematics with a few QTE's & choices; the playtime clocking in at less than 2 hours. The story feels incomplete as if they just stopped developing the story abruptly.

It's an amazing game overall except the camera angles.

THE GOOD:
+ The characters are fleshed out well with an engaging (back)story & a rich lore.
+ The combat is top-notch heavily relying on your companion.
+ Boss fights are phenomenal & heavily rely on all the skills that you learn as you progress.
+ Character design & the overall art style is impressive albeit it gets a bit repetitive after a few
levels.

...AND THE BAD:
- Terrible camera angles! They're the worst that I have ever encountered. Definitely not
recommended playing with KB+M.
- There are no keys to look around the map when the camera is static which is most of the
time in non-combat areas.
- The beat-the-clock Chapter 21 is infuriatingly frustrating with terrible camera angles & high
level shielded enemies accompanied by lesser enemies.
- Around 75% of the game features the same desolate medieval city.
- Game length should have been a bit shorter.

The combat is pathetic & frustrating.

This game is an absolute labor of love.

THE GOOD:
+ The character & team dynamics are really well-done.
+ The combat is top-notch with the whole team fighting as one unit.
+ Boss fights are phenomenal & heavily rely on your team & your commands.
+ The character personalities are mainly based on the MCU movies which brings in a lot of humor to the game.
+ A lot of cool character skins.
+ The story is great & the game length is long (10+ hours).
+ The environments are really well-done & look gorgeous.

...AND THE BAD:
- A couple of game-breaking glitches which a quickload can easily fix.
- There should have been sections to be played using the other Guardians.
- Choices did have a big impact but only noticeable a few times.
