It is rather difficult to recommend this game, Ill give it a yellow thumbs up if it was possible.
Too many exploits, bugs, I was really hoping that the game was in a better state by now.
The difficulty spikes are huge and compared with previous racing games like FlatOut this is just a pay to play game + some DLC you can totally go without. Sometimes I just wonder, for a company that exist over 20 years, I am kind of sad about the overall quality of the game and sometimes i just wonder if they are actually really testing their stuff before releasing it to the public.
There is no anti-cheat, thus, the (online) multiplayer events are ruled by those hacks.
Sure, it has entertainment value for what it offers. The only thing that keeps it up for me, is the nostalgic feeling that the game gives, some fun destruction racing/racing with a good selection of cars and some customization, nothing more, nothing less and absolutely not worth the price they are asking for it.

Great game and a great story worthy of Lara Croft.
Crafting, upgrading, exploration, hunting, there are plenty of side missions and quests that will keep you busy for a while.

There are puzzles, some of those will need you to have great timing and some logical skill.
Quick time events (QTE) are not my favorites, but they are not really prevalent as getting upgrades, the game makes you backtrack as some upgrades are found further into your adventure.
There are various enemies, they become more resilient the more you advance in the game.

Multiplayer:

A lot of fun, unbalanced, but fun. You unlock certain things in PvP, the higher your PvP level the more options you will have.
There are various modes, capture the objectives, TDM, free for all and so on.

If you missed on this game in the past, it is a good time to get it while it is free.

Biological warfare at its finest. Name it, spread it, evolve it and annihilate humanity or find many alternative ways to win with your virus.

Really challenging, the news gives you an idea what is going on and where to improve your virus.
Global overviews makes it possible to monitor your progress and prevent humanity from finding a cure.

There are many mods and community made maps. There is even multiplayer.
A really interesting game that will always be different, every play is unique and fun.

NOTICE: If you are planning to buy NFSS 2, just buy this one. From a technical perspective, this one is better.

Not to be mistaken with Shift, Need for Speed: Shift is a great racing game, giving the freedom to drive the way you want.
You want to be aggressive or stick with the rules, you get points for that. You get points for your style.
Instead of open roads, we have a lot of circuits, they are all very enjoyable and there are plenty of cars to modify and collect.

This game reminds a time when EA made good products. Something I cannot say these days.

Grid has always been in the low-end of racing games, for the same price as this game, you can get much, much better racing games imo.
When official racing rules are applied in a game, it is of the essence to follow them all, for example; when you go faster than your opponent, they have to give you room, the AI totally blocks your way and some can be found later facing the wrong way.
The game really tries to merge arcade and simulation but it is totally lost in finding a way between.
The tracks are actually good, I'll give them that.
There is some customization, in terms of how you want your car to behave on the road.

Not a bad game but not good either, mediocre.

After finishing the prologue on my second try and understanding the mechanics of this rogue-like turn-based RPG game, it has more entertaining value than most indie games flooding Steam.
How it works; you can level up your heroes and traps and set them in your dungeon trying to stop a group of adventurers seeking your chest of gold. Defeat them before they can take your gold and you win. You can make multiple choices between fights, most of those will affect you directly or indirectly, be sure to have some gold saved for unforeseen situations!.

I was in love with this game a few years ago; Airmech Strike is a nice tactical-action RTS game that has changed a lot over the years, there is actually less content than there was ever before. A mech game on a small scale. The core mechanics have not changed but it feels way more like a mobile game.

Due the lack of a decent tutorial, the things that will help the most is looking at your controls and train versus AI before you get in a real battle.

In the current state, the game is getting stale very fast and while I would have given this game a thumbs up a few years ago, for what it has become, I cannot recommend this game anymore.

A very short game. Logic human behavior done simple, in a game with cubes, such experiments are also made on apes to teach them a certain way of thinking and behavior.

You may feel compelled by the decisions you make, there is only one answer, actions and consequences we all have in common, diverge from this path and it may give you nothing. Follow the white rabbit.
