I created this group for those who want to match make via IP since there is no support on steam for X-wing vs Tie Fighter / X-wing Alliance. Anyone is free to join!
Open ports needed on router will be the same as directplay 7.

There are plenty of online port checkers to help. Be sure the game is hosting a lobby before you port check. I can't remember if the client needed to open these ports too though.
