This is a great cause; literally everything should be possible to acquire for free in my opinion. From crates, to keys, to promo items (although Genuine should be reserved for bought promo items). The item itself, however, should drop or somesuch. That also applies to keys in my opinion, so, great initiative!

This is on of the more nobel causes in TF2, I salute you bird and anyone who help out!

could you please change how you move things in the backpack because i really want to be able to move 20 or so things at once because i have spent 2 - 3 hours organising my backpack and it is a pain in the behind and i would really like to see a change thank you :D

i forgot to put this in but i think it would be a good idea to make airblast jump, so you aim at ground with flame thrower right click and you fly into the air, i mean you can push whole teams away with 1 airblast shot, you should be able to blast yourself into the air with it. :)

Also when you press tab if theres to many people on one team you cant see the people right at the bottom so mabye a scroll on it?

Also if your thinking of making keys have a random drop chance i think they should make the price of keys go up by 50 cents so there $3 to make up for the lost money that they may get and make the chance of unusual item a little less because if you happen to get an unusual its basically a ticket to unlimited keys if you trade them right.

I think they should change the name of paint to Dye or something seing as you dont use paint on hats irl, and you wont have to rename all the paints because alot of the paints dont have the name "Paint" in them so all it would have to say is like "Level 5 Dye" or something. and change paint to something else like a sorta spray that you can use to draw on walls or something like real paint. but the paint is just an idea nothing else :D.

I think "special" keys should be brought into the game, which can be found through the item drop. These keys can be used on "special" crates, which have a 1 in 1000 chance to get an unusual hat, and unique weapons from. Anyway, it is a far-fetched and flawed idea I have...

Make it so that you can set where new items will be put in your back back, for the times you're scrap banking or just want to know where it goes.

Make it so that non-craftable items are easily seen from craftable items like put a logo in the corner or change the background colour.

An interesting idea I heard was to have an "Attempt to open" option on all crates, I'm unsure as to the correct percentage the possibility to succeed should be, but around 5-10% sounds reasonable, possibly less.

Make weapons paintable, call it Spray Paint.

crates are actually worthless. nothing good ever comes out of them and no one ever buys keys so why even sell them? valve needs to wake up and see why people dont buy them. they are not worth the money

u can find keys but realy rare and can craft them but takes alot of metal

idea.. i buy alot of games through steam. for every game purchased over $5, we get a key we can use in TF2. i want it Backlogged too -.- i have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of games :P

SPY GRENADES!! the spy hallucanagenic grenade from TFC that made any1 hit by the gas see themselfs being shot at, blown up, set on fire, hit. it was the reason i used to play Spy on TFC :)

iI like that idea, but if u sacrifice 1 or 2 of your weapons maybe you could get that chance of a hat, Etc back. Combine these two ideas together and you got a great one! Cheers!

Heres my idea, if you recieve a crate(any number) it will be able to be opened 2 ways: the first way is a key, this opens a crate as usual and gives you the item that was unboxed. But the second way you should be able to open a crate is for free but if you open a crate for free you dont have a chance at hats, unusuals, stranges, name tags... you could only unbox a regular wepon like a crit-a-cola, or loch-n load so the box would offer you a random wepon instead of just haveing a crate in your in-box.

Another way to get keys. An OFFICIAL Price market, either a website or group where people can comment how much they bought/sold an item for and if they thought it was a good deal or not so we can rely on more than word of mouth. Make it like a stock market

Two refined and 6 crates both fits in a trade window AND is close enough to the economy to not impact things :) Would be a reasonable system I think.
