After several years of inactivity, I've come back to start updating TF2x10 again. I'm working on delivering changes to update weapons to be more in line with TF2 weapon updates, as well as adding weapon adjustments to make some weapons feel more fun to use and feel more properly x10'd.

There are a lot of changes, however I won't go over them all yet, since it's still a work in progress.

However, I do have a server where you will be able to test these updates. The server will be up for around two days (although I might keep it up longer).

LOVE LIVE CUSTOM MAPS X10

Ah the custom maps X10 server... It all started when you were X10 Competitive Maps server when I first created it. Then I converted it into custom maps server...
Almost 4 years of running and allowing players to have fun while experiencing some of the whackiest maps that TF2 community can produce was a real treat.
However, it is time to kill it.

Let me explain.

It all started when Meet your Match update kicked in. It killed majority of playerbase and even myself lost interest in TF2 for a long time.
Because of this, a ton of community servers started dying out. Mine, Kaabii's, probably Outpost server, you name'em.
I've neglected my servers and they have become a wasteland. No one joins there anymore.
Now that the Jungle Inferno is out, the interest that I had for TF2 sparked up once again. It is not as strong as it used to be when I first created X10 Stock Maps, but it is still better than nothing.

Plus, Overwatch is a complete grindfest and filled with nothing but trolls and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Especially Competitive mode. Don't even touch that mode.

That being said, it wasn't enough for me and the players to revive the server back from the dead.
While it does not cost me extra to run both Mario Kart and Custom Maps server because they both run on same machine to host the server, I really don't want to waste $20 a month just for two completely dead servers that no one joins that much anymore. I want to use this machine to fullets without wasting any potential to it.

It was not easy for me to make this decision, but I have to. I want to do something worthwhile that I enjoy with the server machine. Maybe different game server that isn't TF2, but may have limited slots, but it's something. Terraria or Don't Starve Together perhaps? Who can say?

Now now don't you go crying because you will no longer experience Trainsawlaser and Wubwubwub X10 just because the custom maps server will be gone.
I may be killing the server, but I will be migrating EVERY custom maps that I saved on the server files straight to my Stock Maps server, rename it, and boom! Luigi's Hybrid Maps X10 server.

Again, it was not an easy choice to make, but I wanted to make something out of my machine as well as reduce the hassle of constant crashing of the custom maps server whenever I am offline.

Thank you for supporting my X10 Custom Maps server. I am very grateful that you guys are still willing to support my server by simply playing in them whenever there are some population as well as people who played in the server in the past and all donators.

As for my donators, your perks will be kept in my main server.

Also I'm not dead and I may play on my X10 server a bit more frequently now.

Because screw current status of Overwatch.

Hello! Its been a few days (in valve time) since the jungle inferno update hit! Took a while, but we finally got stuff working the way we want.


Here are some patch notes:

• 10x Hand size
  
• 75% Faster Firing Rate
  
• -90% Damage
  
• 100 second speed boost on hit
  
  
  Gas Passer:
• 10x Charge Rate of normal Gas Passer.
  This effectively makes it charge as fast as its deployed, meaning as soon as one wears off, you can throw another one.
  
  
  Thermal Thruster:
• 10x charge rate.
  This pretty much means infinite use, as in testing, I couldn't even fire it fast enough to use the second charge.
  
  
  Second Banana
• 10x Charge
  
• 10x Eat Speed
  
• 10xNOM
  
  The second banana recharges almost instantly and is eaten almost instantly as well. As a result, you heal 60 health per NOM.
  
  
  Dragon's Fury:
  
  We originally gave this 3000% damage on burning targets, but it could take down a fully buffed kunai spy in seconds. Even i think that's OP.
  
  So now it has faster firing rate. We will likely continue to change its design if needed.

  • 2000% Air Control while blast jumping
    
    
    Darwin's Danger Shield:
  • No longer offers immunity to bullets.
    
  • Instead, grants full immunity to fire and afterburn.
    
  • Fire and afterburn now instead heal you for the damage the fire would cause
    
  • Health caps at 2000.
    
    
    Razorback:
  • Shield should regenerate after 3 seconds. It doesn't right now, but I didn't want to delay the release anymore!
    
    
    GRU / Bread Bite / Festive GRU:
  • Drains 100 health per second while active, but cannot kill you.
    
  • Restores 100 health per second while holstered, but cannot restore more than was lost while active.
    
  • Removed Damage Penalty
    
  • Removed Marked for Death.
    
    
    Eviction Notice:
  • Drains 50 health per second while active, but cannot kill you.
    
  • Restores 50 health per second while holstered, but cannot restore more than was lost while active.
    
  • Removed Damage Vulnerability
    
    
    Fists of Steel:
  • Cannot gain overheal or be healed by a medic or dispenser while active.
    
    
    Claidheamh Mor:
  • Removed 25 health on kill
    
  • Charge duration still increased by 5 seconds. (as if we'd remove demotruck just because valve did)
    
  
  
  The update should be rolling out, or have already had rolled out to the servers in the next few hours.
