EU TERA guild group

Hello Pettans,

As the headline says I'll be resigning as GM for the guild this weekend. It's been well over a year since we all started playing together, but now it's time for me to step back. It's been a great journey with all of you and it's been amazing fun to lead the guild and play with you all.

There's a few reasons for me stepping down. Most of it has to do with life catching up and me not having as much time on my hands as the game is going to require. The Alliance Patch is getting closer (whenever Gameforge gets their thumb out of their ass) and so is the coming University term. The second part of that being my main reason of stepping down.

I will not have time enough on my hands to both cope with the Alliance system, that requires A LOT of time, and with my university studies.

The other reason for me playing a lot less is because of the way Gameforge is handling the game here in the EU. Be it abyssmal service or crashing events and servers, they're utter ♥♥♥♥ and I'm not enjoying it. The way BHS is taking the game is not to my liking either. They're focusing way too much on pumping out cosmetics that in turn pump their wallets full of cash. Despite the cosmetics being nice and all, I'd rather they fix more stuff with the game that needs adressing than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out another pack of swimsuits. Performance in the game is not good, and many gameplay elements are easy as ♥♥♥♥ to abuse and that takes the fun out of the game for me.

So while I'm not calling it quits completely, I won't be playing much at all. I will be around for random alliance fun once the patch hits and things have settled down after my move to university.

The next thing for me in terms of MMO's is going to be FFXIV - We're a few Pettans starting up there for some casual fun. So if there's anyone else that plans to play, feel free to poke me on Steam. We're most likely rolling on Cerberus (EU) at Early Access on the 24th this coming weekend.


Back to TERA and Pettan again. The one who will carry our flat banner towards more greatness in the upcoming Alliance Patch is Ganryu. I hope you all take care of our resident panda and that he's not too harsh on you all. I think he'll be a great leader as he's got a good head on his shoulders, listens to what people have to say and does well in organising things and is going to be a lot more active than me for the coming content. Plus a lot of people like him, both in- and outside of the guild.

I wish to thank you all once again for the fun times. I'll see you around in-game from time to time in both TERA and FFXIV. I hope you all take good care of our new GM.
