I know its been a while since I've last been posting on here, but I'm just curious to see how people are doing. I've had a few students in the past and it has gone quite well.

Remember, its up to you to talk to new players and teach them things. If every player knows the basics and isn't dragging the team down, won't that be better for the game in general?

For training I recommend the Australian training camp, or just repeatedly retrying training camp until you and your student enter the same server.

Ask for help by posting a message on the board. Say what level you are and what class(es) you play. Try to keep things specific (how to deal with commandos as Megabeth, etc., etc.) It is recommended for new players to save a replay of their match and post it on Youtube. To do this, go to Community in SMNC, Watch Games, find your match, download it, and find it in your steam folders. Exactly where, I don't know (help me on this one someone). You can also just Fraps a match.

If you want to become an officer, leave a message with your level and pros you play and ask to be an officer. I recommend you get a microphone before becoming an officer. You will be responsible for helping people in whatever way they ask.

Use the group chat or message for contact. You don't need to friend anyone.

Because of Custom games requiring 4 or more people, there won't be much one-on-one game time. You can also duo in a team.
Officers, feel free to use steam voice, mumble, vent, or skype if your student is OK with it.
