Natural Selection 2: Classic

NS2:C is a close recreation of the popular half-life mod Natural Selection 1. It is being made on the same engine as NS2 which is the spark engine.
Instead of making a exact copy of the old game the mod will not only take some great features from ns2, it will also be getting constant improvements and new features to make both public play and competitive play fun and viable.

Patch 8 Released - With oldschool ns1 music!

Hey everyone, we just released a huge new patch for ns2c. Here are a few highlights:

*The movement has been readjusted
*New chamber voting system for the alien team, allowing teams to vote what chamber to use in the beginning. Currently you press X to vote.
*Acid rockets, spores, umbra and more got back their ns1 sounds.
*The awesome ns1 music is back!

Lets bring Classic back to live, Eu server up!

Hello everyone, been awhile. We just set up a eu classic server to see how much interest there is for the mod these days. There are few bugs after all the patches but Dragon has been working hard on fixing them. If we see some activity we will keep working on it :).
The server has been surprisingly active past 2 days but we would like to see it grow larger. But to do so we need your help. If you would love to play some awesome ns1 games again please support us by simply playing the mod :).

I will start posting some events soon as well to help bring players together. But considering how active the server has been it has not been needed.

So I'm just wondering, are there any servers up at the moment that run this mod? I cannot seem to find any currently.

We have started to do some work again, not sure yet where it leads. We have 1 active eu server atm called Goðar NS Classic. Dragon has been working on some fixes to the movement, there have been some issues after all the patches.
