Nippon Gamers: A community for English speaking gamers in Japan!

Nippon Gamers is a community that primarily communicates via a Discord channel, where we have voice channels for squad play and chat rooms for discussing gaming and other hobbies.

The community is very close-knit, but welcoming to newcomers. Members mainly use the Discord for finding groups to play multiplayer games with, but we also encourage discussing single-player games and participating in sub-communities, such as board gaming and eSports.

We plan community events, including "PC Game Night" where we all install a free or cheap game to play together. Some members also set up IRL meetups to grab a beer.

Both PC and console gamers are welcome to the group, and we encourage you to bring new ideas for games to play together. We are also looking forward to new releases coming up in the future.

This community is for you if you want to:
•Find some people to play multiplayer games with
•Nerd out about gaming in general
•Make gamer friends in Japan

Finally, the community is strictly for English speakers in Japan, or gamers intending to come to Japan in the very near future.
