IRON FRONT STEAM GROUP ANNOUNCER

This Steam Group will be used to provide Iron Front soldiers of all Nations and sides the quickest possible newsletter updates, match results and any new developments within the campaign.

This group is not an announcer for random playing announcements. Only Iron Front related news will be posted here.

JOINING A MATCH

1. All non-Iron Front players are booted and server is locked with it's first password at the designated start time for the match.

2. Do not contact A. Switz for the servers password if you are late. Look on the announcements of this group or Contact someone else in game.

3. If you are late to a match (the server password has already gone up) you must make a reply in the "Late Arrivals" post for that match in the chat area of this steam group.

USING YOUR MICROPHONE / LEADING

We REALLY want these Iron Matches to remain different from the normal everyday public realisms. And as such, no one wants to hear the same people over and over again leading or talking. If you are one of these people, read carefully.

1. Only players who belong to the Nation that the campaign is having the battle for may have priority to be the match leader and use their microphone.

2. Obviously players who are not in the nation being represented in the battle can still use their mic, but not to go into any other detail except calling out positions or replying to commands.

WE WILL BAN YOU IF

You are being a pain in the ass. We understand that for most this campaign carries with it their best experiences in WW1 Source. We will not let you ruin that for them. MICROPHONE use is one of these areas that if you cross, we will simply ban you. It may be permenant ot just for the match. If you cry about it then we will never lift the ban and respond further if you take things too far. This is not a competition league. This is just for normal WW1 Source players looking to have a good time.

Until we get much more support and staff running this thing, I just cant have to remain politically correct when dealing with any of you who want to "test" our limits and troll a little. I am warning you now, it just wont happen and I wont lose any sleep over it.

I did, and I know I messed up on the CP leader picks, but check the rosters. Somedude was in Germany so it worked out. The only non German player in leadership was Tomich, however, as I recall no other German player wanted it anyway. Granted it was luck, but the leader picks for both sides went off as it should be. We started the match at 3:25 EST. That included our first ever leader picks, introducing everyone to a new game mode, bringing in the last minute late entries and doing it all within an hour and the scheduled ♥♥♥♥♥♥ time for the game server for non Iron Front players. I have to give the admining part of this a success. Game mode was fun from what I heard, and aside from things we have no control over like "Bunker sucks", "Im lagging", "G98 sucks".....not a bad first match.
