After a friend of mine (Thx Theo) helped me with the support, it fixed our problem pretty quickly, even on a weekend :). Im sorry for the downtime but all servers are back in business!

Hello everyone.

I am sorry to say but the server is down at the moment and I dont know how long it will take to get it back up. I believe the network config is broken so all IPs are now unreachable (which also means I cant get into the servers console either).

I am now hoping that support will restore the network config or fix it somehow on their end and not just wipe the disk, which would erase all of our servers (the backups I got are pretty old because I cant afford a proper cloud to back up onto AND my internet is too slow to download ~80gb every week).


Really im so sorry about the sudden cut of service. Ill try my best to get this resovled as quickly as I can, however I cant promise that it will be today or tomorrow. It really depends on how quick and cooperative the support is on a weekend.

After a long while of eating and sleeping working on school stuff and being lazy, I decided to make a poll on how people would like it if I fixed some of the major, borderline unfixable structural and organisational problems with the old server by making a remake. The vote was so one sided that it was basically decided right there. Yes. Here is a very, very relevant discussion where I detail the basic idea and how you can help developent. DONT WORRY. The old server will remain up until the new one is finished.

Tomorrow im going away for a week to scotland. Before I left I wanted to release SOMETHING for you guys. I was planning on releasing the slimdown but due to school and that note-taking thing I gotta do for it taking much longer than I though I havent been able to do that.

So, while still working on all the other things, I put togheter a small little thing so you have something to mess with while im gone => I hope you guys like this small selection of stuff and things. Dont worry. More to come after slimdown, which will be a thing after im back (sooner or later).

We have had the same vps provider since day one. PHPFriends have provided a very relyable server to us, which never failed. However there was one problem with it. Unfortunately it insufficient single core performance, and since gmod is a single core application (and you cant change that using some command on servers) the multiple cores didnt help. That is why I am retiring the vps hosted there and I am...



Now this was supposed to happen around the same time as the slimdown update, however I have decided that it was necessary to do something about the constant crashes now and not in weeks. Therefore I have decided to start using this server right now :)

I have configured it the same way the old server was. So unless I made some mistakes, you shouldnt notice any difference from that side.
