so i checked today, and yeah some of this sucker got banned finally

My experience is that you will not get a Player Report notification if the person you reported got OW banned. Not even if it later becomes a VAC ban.

You should get a Player Report notification if the person you reported got VAC banned soon after your report. 🤷🏻‍♂️
