Player of the Week 13: Aki!

On this most formal occasion I am proud to present to you the new Player of the Week, selected by popular vote. This most illustrious player is none other than Aki herself!

She is known for her extensive work in FPS games, most notably Destiny 2 and Rainbow Six Siege. She is also known for playing Valorant, Minecraft, Overwatch, and Grand Theft Auto V. A two time consecutive winner of the server D2 championship, she is also touted as the vanquisher of the late Bulkus, Lord of the Hunt. Her accolades are many. An international team of scientists have dubbed her "Hopshot Supreme" after an empirical study yielded evidence that she does not touch the ground for more than two seconds at a time. She is not chained to a single strategy, however; she is sometimes referred to as the Silent Killer or even the Sneaky Assassin. As one of the few hardened survivors of DesertCowRP, she has demonstrated her strategic competency on multiple fronts.

Aki is known by many server members for her facilitation of notices and game news posts. Although she is an upstanding and hardworking member of the staff, she hides a more interesting side that our reporters were able to obtain the scoop on at great cost and effort. Her personal favorite pastime is an underground bloodsport known as "1v1" and many have lost their lives and dignity against her. She is sought by the KGB for some association with an illicit ASCII art-dealing ring, but these allegations are as of yet unconfirmed. When she isn't clicking head and making bread, she is occupied with her position as Queen of Hell. She shined brightest when her Legion of Sinners overcame the Saint Lettuce movement in April.

Player of the Week 12: Shudder!

This man is the proprietor of the local sniper lane, and his unyielding pursuit of his dues invokes his namesake upon those who have fallen afoul of him. He is said to be able to smell mild anxiety from a distance of 7 kilometers and is universally aware of anyone who is not crouch walking. This illustrious fellow is also known as the King of Cinema and is noted for being a renowned appraiser of leather apparel.

We would be honored to award him his title in person, but he went missing earlier this month. While we have no clues to his whereabouts, a certain "Lumberjack Johnson" appears to be emulating the presumed-late Shudder to the fullest. In time he may even overshadow the real one. Only time will tell.
