Announcing aimpunch open 2016! - 16 team tournament

Hello Silver Tournament players!

Today, I am pleased to announce aimpunch open 2016, a tournament run by the website I have spent the last few months developing ( www.aimpunch.net - it is not even close to done yet!).

This tournament is open to ALL ranks and the first 16 teams to register will claim their spot for a chance to prove their dominance. There is no registration fee.

The format is almost the same as MLG Columbus 2016 - Four 4-team groups that play double elimination BO1 matches. The top two teams from each group move on to the quarterfinals which are BO3 all the way to the final.

The map pool is as follows:

• de_overpass

The server locations will be Dallas, USA to provide fair ping to most US residents. If you do not think your ping will be low enough, do not participate.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rules (will be updated in the near future):

• no cheating of any kind
  
• all player Steam profiles must be public to be eligible for registration
  
• all players must record POV demos for admins to review if necessary
  
• normal Valve / Major timings and maps will be used
  
• no-shows will result in immediate forfeiture (be on-time to your matches!)

All matches will be streamed on Twitch at http://www.twitch.tv/aimpunch_tv

A full schedule will be finalized once all teams are registered but the group stage matches will take place May 14-15th (Sat-Sun) and the remaining quarterfinal to final matches will be held on May 21st (Saturday).
