The Rust Gods have been kind to us this last year.

Rustafied has enjoyed a meteoric rise in popularity in the Rust community and we have always enjoyed being able to provide this vibrant group of gamers with up-to-date information and support as well as stable and competently run servers for Rust players to realise their dreams of open-world, survivalist gaming.

When the opportunity for us to give back to the world arose in the form of a charity event, we jumped at the chance.

The idea was brought to us by Rust with Lou and we ran with it!

After finding a worthwhile charity, Child's Play[childsplaycharity.org], we started gathering together suitable partners who could help us to make this a fun and exciting event.

To that end, we came up with the idea of creating a carnival which will provide entertainment as well as much needed resources to accelerate the standard vanilla game play of Rust via various stores which will use a unique in-game currency.

We also decided to host an arena to provide entertainment of a more brutal nature as compared to the carnival.

Along with those Rustafied supported event areas, we have invited other well known Rust roleplayers to bring their own special brand of community locations to the event.

To mention a couple of these creative players without giving too much away, we have DOA on board with his amazing bar, PoonGalore is on schedule to open a hotel and the CHOW group will be surprising us with a structure that is all their own.

We have decided that role playing is going to be the theme of the day for this event and we are really excited to see what these guys will come up with that will be both extremely creative and, most definitely, hilarious.

To reassure the players who may not be interested in taking part in the roleplaying aspects of the event, the regular Rust vanilla experience will be in full swing. With a couple of notable exceptions:

1. MODIFICATIONS:
   There are game modifications that will be running that will affect the whole server. We have worked hard to come up with a set of modifications that should add to the Rust experience but not distract from it. We will welcome any feedback from the players during the event and if it is determined that any of these modifications are creating an unwanted distraction from the Rust experience, we will modify them to be less obtrusive or we will turn them off entirely.
   
   
2. EVENT AREAS:
   There will be areas that will be delineated as server event areas and they will have various restrictions in place against building, PvP, gathering, etc. These areas will be very small pockets of the landscape that you may encounter while playing and will be utilized for various server events which we have planned. Along those lines, you can expect some surprises that you will encounter as you play that will enhance the experience, as well.

CHARITABLE RUST HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED!
