Update 02/06/2016 - Force Wipe
Map changes
Andre has tweaked procedural map generation.
He also fixed the big holes between prfab mountains. And he also added more monuments, while increasing their minimum distance.

Weapon mods
Two new weapon mods will be added today: the muzzle boost and the muzzle brake.
These two mods can be used with any other mods (except the silencer) and impact fire rate and recoil.

Muzzle boost
The muzzle boost provides higher fire rate, at a cost of less accuracy and velocity.

Muzzle brake
The muzzle brake privides less recoil, at a cost that the bullets fly in a more unpredictable direction.

Along with the two new weapon mods, we're also seeing some price balance for the other weapon mods. The price of the silencer, laser sight and flashlight have all been lowered.
  • Flashlight: 3 HQM
  • Laser sight: 8 HQM
  • Silencer: 12 HQM

Build changes
Andre has tweaked some placement rules for buildings.
Boxes can no longer be placed in walls. Also, foundations of seperate buildings always need to keep a distance of two world units between each other.

These changes will not impact the ability to create stacked walls or many other building techniques. All though you may need to tweak how you do some things. At the moment, as long as the foundations were once connected, it still counts as the same building.

Andre has the plan to recalculate building ID when a building is split in two, this not yet implemented yet.

Throwing
A new way of throwing is almost here! Alex mentioned in last week's devblog, throwing objects will work more like the bow: hold right click to aim, tap left click to throw.

It looks like this has been added to most of the objects already, however, the branch has yet to be merged. This means it may make it in this week's update, or we may have to wait another week or so till this improvement goes live.

XP system
The new XP system is not going live today :(.
That said, Helk has been doing some work on the prerelease branch. He's balanced the entire unlock tree and made it so the cost to unlock blueprints are generated based on level.

Other changes
  • Bird poop sounds added
  • Antihack: Increased projectile LOS penalty against players
  • Enabled shore wetness on road material
  • Display suicides in seperate column in stats console command
  • Fixed sign update issues with slow client connections
  • New 3rd person deploy/reload player animations added for several weapons.
