Facny up the group a little more. There is little in the way of explaining what the whole deal around this is. I didnt know until Tina told me and the above paragraph is vauge at best. Get an avatar and a well laid out, informative paragraph or two in the profile. Tell us how there is absolutely no L4D1 ladders or tournies left (tell a little history about the situation and where comp L4D1 stands), and that the whole point of this group is a forum poll on MGL to encourage them to get one going for everyone.

I support the group and have voted, but if you want to expect everyone here to go out of their way and spend a few minutes out of there days, you have to do the same with the group, other than just making a quick group, throw up a link and a small vauge paragraph.

This isnt a rant, this is me trying to help you guys get more votes, I promise. I mean all this in a positive way, and anyone here that knows me knows I only have good intentions.

This is precisely why there are no l4d tourneys or ladders. People act like they want it, but there's no follow through to actually make it happen. They'll click accept on a group invite, but they they wont go through the trouble to post on a forum. I've seen plenty of votes go up, multiple forums posting threads that they'll do it if there's interest, and not get it. I assume the same will happen here unfortunately. Gotta be more proavtive if you want it guys... :/

i hope this goes through but from past attemps its a ton of people who give interest but no one to go threw. theres been a scrim network for 6 months with over 200 people in it and only the same 4 groups post in it.
