This group is for Crazy Gamers Man or Woman from young to Old that take FUN more seriously than playing to be good.

The reason behind BNS Outlaws was to provide a server for small groups of friends that wanted to have fun and enjoy the game with other like-minded people. In the beginning regular players created the tag, BNS, which stands for "Bugger Nugger Slugger."

Hello again peeps.

For anyone out there with fond memories of Friday nights on BNS (circa 2007-2014) we have some great news to share.

BNS Outlaws UK are back with not just a TF2 server but also Valheim Plus dedicated server too. Details below:

We have a fully loaded & modded fun server back online, delivering quality maps with little to no lag. It's going to be up 24/7 (unless it's updating ofc) and free for all to join. Bring your friends and hopefully we'll see you there.

Due to its popularity among the players, we decided to run our own Valheim dedicated server. On here we use the Valheim Plus mod, to give the game some QoL improvements, in a non-cheaty way. There is a central BNS base at the primary spawn point of the map. All are welcome to use the facilities including the item stores but we do have a some basic rules:
1) Respect each other. Everyone on the server are friends.
2) Share and share alike. There are many resources available at the BNS central base but do help out, as you progress, by donating some items to the stores for others to use in their hour of need.
3) You can build anywhere you like. Remember to use wards to protect your own buildings. Friends can be opted in to your ward.
4) If you need help or simply want to help others, just drop into our Discord and join the Valheim voice channel. Help is only a shout away.

Essential. This is needed to join our server:
Valheim Plus Mod (latest)[fastdl.themagicmike.co.uk]
Download and extract to your Valheim folder. Nothing else to do except run the game and join the server.
(Optional) ModPack[fastdl.themagicmike.co.uk]
Contains a few good mods that will enhance your game experience. Extract to "Bepinex" folder inside the Valheim folder then start game.
(Optional) HD Textures Pack[fastdl.themagicmike.co.uk] Provided and updated by [BNS] Spliffy this texture pack will give the game a complete graphical upgrade.

Any updates will be reflected in the links above as soon as possible but for fully up to date information and further help please check the #valheim text chat in discord.

We have yet to get our website operational but are working on it in the background. We may keep this to just a simple informational site telling others about what games we play and where to find us. I have been toying with the idea of rebooting our forums but with Discord on the scene, that's perhaps become redundant. Safe to say it's still a WIP and we'll let you know more as it happens.

With a heavy heart comes new hope....

Hi everyone.

I'd just like the start this announcement by saying it is genuinely good to be back. This past year has been tough the world over but it is also with a heavy heart to inform the community that we sadly lost [BNS] Snotter to the coronavirus on February 24th.

Some of us were able and honoured to attend a virtual funeral service to say farewell to our dear friend. Collectively we humbly thank his wife Sara and family for giving us that wonderful opportunity. The service was beautiful and couldn't be more fitting for a man who has blessed us with so many laughs and memories over the years. He will be greatly missed.

Sara has taken steps to provide a donation mechanism for Snotter's (Denis') legacy. All monies collected will go directly to his favourite charity - The Cardiac Ward at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool. A very noble cause I'm sure most will agree.

If you would like to donate yourself please visit Sara's paypal page[paypal.me] and leave whatever you can. Sara will provide us with an overall total in a few weeks time. On behalf of Sara and family, thank you all.

So, now we feel the time is right, to get the gang back together for some more fun on TF2. In honour of our dear pal we've started a new game server and called it:

The server is a WIP at the moment but we will have a fair selection of maps in the cycle to play this weekend.

We no longer have the original TF2 server files so the setup is going to take a little bit of time to perfect. Good news is we have the old web based jukebox working in its entirety but, before that becomes a TF2 thing, there's coding work to be done in creating a new JB mod for the server. We'll keep you posted on its progress.

The server, however, will be up from Friday 12th March. It may be subject to further configuration changes over the coming days. If it disconnects it only means we're working on it :) We aim to give it a trial run tomorrow (Friday 12th March) so be there or, erm, be somewhere else. Keep an eye open for a Steam event coming your way.
