Did you get anywhere with your route? I've worked on Exeter to Exmouth three times now - I must be getting quite good (I live in Exeter so its my local route)! Just doing my third version now, basically by adding it on to the Riviera Line Modern. When I've got the Exmouth branch finished I'll take it up to Barnstaple and then to Okehampton and Plymouth - my cloned route is called 'Devon Rails'. I have all the line and stations in down to Exmouth (again!) and am currently busy super detailing all the scenery. It's pretty complete to Topsham, with some of Exmouth done as well.

I can run Exmouth to Paignton trains using the real world timetable, and look forward to doing the same to Barnstaple, though with the existing excellent route already available that feels sort of wasted time. Perhaps I'll go to Plymouth first - I've done that as well once, when I also modelled in the Bere Alston to Meldon gap (it was around the time of the Dawlish block, so that seemed apposite).
