A group for the upcoming game, Trials of Guinevere

Trials of Guinevere is a continuous turn-based RPG set in the high fantasy city of Guinevere. It merges character development, a detailed story, and strategic, class-based combat.

What seems to start as a simple foray into an abandoned mine turns into a dangerous event that threatens the entirety of the city, itself. Can the heroes solve the mystery of who is causing these events? Can they save the city before it's too late?

* Exciting continuous turn-based combat where every decision matters. Formation mechanics allows your mages and fighters to play to their strengths, which adds to the strategy of combat.

* Three Acts. In Act I you play as two classmates from the Academy of Magic, a prestigious school that teaches young mages the basis of their chosen field. In Act II, you play as guardians of the royal family, who find out who is conspiring against the crown. In Act III, all four heroes join together.

*Choices that matter. What you say to certain people influences the outcome of the story. What happens in Act I can determine the fate of certain people in Act III, and people respond better to you, depending on how you've treated them in the past.

* The ending changes depending on the choices you've made. All of the heroes have a wide variation of their personal endings, and react to each others', in turn.

* No grinding, and some of the combats can be avoided, if you so desire. Each fight is uniquely designed to be challenging and different, and levelling up happens at set points in the game. Optional boss fights are present, and winning them will give you game-changing items, or even affect the end of the game!

* Unique Class-based combat. Each class is different, and it will be up to you to learn how to deal with each in turn.

* Three Power Levels of character strength. As your heroes level up, They will gain access to stronger abilities and spells, measured in Power Levels. Abilities and spells grow in power as well, and will never become useless.

* Reliable status effects. Poison, Knockdown, Burn, and Domination are all status effects in the game. Using them to your advantage will prove useful, and there are no 'useless useful spells' in the game. Is an enemy Priestess annoying with her constant healing? Silence her. Do you have two Fighters? Have one knockdown a difficult foe, and the other attack for extra damage.
