TEAM WEEABOO FINAL FANTASY XI GROUP

So I forgot about this group, but apparently there's another 14 day freebie going on right now as part of the 11/11/11 celebration.

In addition to the trial, SquareEnix is also selling digital copies of the game for $9.99, which comes with a month free play. The discounted game is purchaseable on Steam or their own website (HIGHLY recommend the Steam version as the SE site has a slow client download in addition to the slow update, which took about 5 hours) and the deal is going on until November 18th.

If anybody was looking to get back into the game, now would be a decent time, especially since FFXIV will soon be charging a monthly fee despite still being a terrible game.
