right, to incourage more modding etc, i have started a new half life 2 mod, called red storm rising, it is based on tom clancys novel of the same title. it is where a fictitious even happens where soviet russia goes to war with nato because a terrorist attack jepordises half its oil industry. the battlefields will strech from the middle east to germany, and many nations, weopons, models, maps, and prefabs will be made, this isnt a seroius mod, its just a chance for all of us to have a go at doing this. iam uploading a few counter strike maps (such as de_dust) which will be slighty modified, just to get the mod up and running before we try changing too much. in time we can model guns, charecters, maps and many more. although this has a set background, if u have always wanted to run around cs maps with laser guns or medieval weoponry, than be my guest, as hopefully this mod will provide all of us with a place to funnel all are ideas into one giant...... pisstake realy i suppose..... attacking US marines with a door will be a new experience for everyone!
