Antistasi Operation Aardvark

Rebels,

We have been gathering supplies and money, and finally we are ready to stage our first large scale operation. The objectives for this operation are:

• Capture Zaros AAF Base
  
• Capture Zaros Radio Tower

In order to maximize surprise, we will conduct a night airborne assault. Our attack will be supported by a mortar section and helicopter transport.

When we capture the base, we expect to enemy to counter attack from Therisa Airport. These Quick Response Forces (QRF) will consist of infantry, armor and possibly airborne force. We have to strike fast and hard. Once we control the base, we must set up our heavy weapons in order to defend the newly captured base.

We will conduct the following preparations before attempting this mission:

• Individual weapons training on heavy machine guns, mortars, ATGM, RPG
  
• Night fighting
  
• Squad leader training
  
• Mining roads which could be used by the enemy QRF
  
• Clearing of roadblocks between our direction of approach and the Area of Operations (AO)
