Well, it's that time again.

Our old server suicided and the community's going downhill because of it. We are really in need of money for a new server, to bring back together what made GH so good - the community.

All the fun times on the server we had, the "golden age" - it wasn't primarily about the server.

It was because of the community and the good feeling we had, before we had the problems of crash attacks, management problems and server issues. We are currently sorting out a new system to balance out fairness and control so we won't have a problem with these anymore.

The UKGame server recently went down and that has left us with a scattered, inactive community. So a new server will allow us to get the community together again and start off what made GH so good all over again, even better than before!

So please, donate a bit of money to GH, so we can get a new server and bring back GH.

If anyone at all is still watching this and still lurks around, I have something to announce.
The servers have been taken down due to unknown reasons. Boath servers are displaying an Unknown error and refuse to work and establish connection.
This is manly because Stykernag had stopped paying for them for some while and my theorys are that UkGame are re-verting the servers to something else, what it is, I can not specify due to the IP addresses not responding to anything. Or that they are boath suffering from tehnical issues due to UkGame's lackluster managment and ignorance for propper game server setup.

But that is not why I am writing this so called "Grim message"

Almost four years, have passed since I took the post of Head Admin and me and my colleges have lead this community through rises and falls, through light and darkness, through Illness and joy.
Its with sadness in my heart that I write this post, thinking back to the old times and the laughs and good time we had as a group of Gmodders... as a group of friends...
Looking back to "The golden age" and all those moments.... Looking at all the things we learned from each other, and all the things we lost, all the countless hours and long nights we spend working on our contraptions and code...


The group we once heald in our hearts is now left in despair.... It is left at the faight of whatever is left of the community.... Most of the Staff force has already became inactive, while the Head Admins have been too. Aled has been occupied with other things and focusing on his life. While I have been busy with some projects of mine... If anyone is reading this, and your a current or former member, feel free to leave it yourself..... But if you wish to stay, and you dont want this group to die or be forgotten, then do so. The future of the comminity lies uppon whatever is left of the members... If you have faith in us, and beleave we can pull thro this, then so be it. We shall fight untill the last spark of hope has dimmed out and has been engulfed by darkness.

If you've been on the server, you probably know what I'm going to talk about. If you haven't, sit tight.

Recently our server has been the target of many dangerous mingebags and hackers/skiddies (whatever you want to call them).

These "dangerous mingebags" are no ordinary mingebags - they don't just spam; they have a lot of new tricks up their sleeves. Tricks that crash the server. I'd say the average amount of server uptime before a crash is about half an hour, if not less.

It's hell out there.

So we're going to change our ways. We're going to drop all policies until further notice. It's total war with the minges. We need to sort out this problem. We need to stablise the server.

This doesn't mean we won't be promoting, however, but it means we will only promote the people we REALLY need. We may need to demote as well, depending on the situation, but it is not likely.

This means that staff apps will have to be put aside. There will only be votes for things that don't affect this operation. I'm sorry, but if we want the server to be stable, we have to prioritise.

F.A.Q:
Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Many members have complained to us that the server crashes often because of individuals using exploits. It's gone way too far, so this is us stepping in.

Q: Does this mean the staff will be on more often?
A: Yes.

Q: Won't there always be minges around?
A: Yes, but right now our server is an attraction for the majority of them, or so it seems. We can't do anything about the minges themselves, but we can stop them coming to our server.

TL;DR:
We're going to stop that server from crashing.
