I've talked with the president of GADIG (Gaming and Design Interest Group) and he's going to point other L4D players to our group. Hopefully we'll get some new people to play with and get them to join our group. However, I have changed it so only V, Kalmyia, and I can invite new people into the group. So bug one of us if you get bugged about it.

Also the |GMU| tag is for those who aren't in a clan or guild. This is just so we can see right off the bat who we are, and hopefully be given a little more respect on our server.

As for our server, I'd like to remind people that if they are using our server and they get harrased, report the steam user name to one of the admins and we'll see to it they are banned. While banning isn't particular powerful here, we will use it as a tool to deter griefers.

Just respect them, and if they choose not to respect you, report them.

Hey folks, since we are now "legit" we should probably have an official logo. That being said, I've started and got a work in progress but I would like some input.

Ben and I think that it would be fantastic if in the background there were quotes like in the safe rooms scattered around the world. Should you be looking at some free time and have something crafty - send me a message and I'll fit it in as best I can. Once something is about ready I'll post a link to photobucket or something to get some feedback before it goes live.

Also - we are going to do player of the week, updated every Saturday. Just an FYI

During the day, I'll have the server public but at night when we're most likely to play I'll set the search key to "GMU" (No quotes)

Again, to access the server either click on it on the right hand side of the main menu screen, or if you are in a lobby open up the console and type sv_search_key GMU

Press Enter, then start the match. This is so people can join up if people leave.

Then type in sv_search_key GMU and hit start game. You should then jump to our server with its wonderful 20-40 ping!

I'm working on getting a server up ASAP for our own use. We should be able to get good pings, and my machine is quite nice.

As for the group, if you know anyone in or around GMU who plays L4D, invite them in.
We'll keep it GMU people only for the time being. I'll post server info later once I've got everything setup.
