FreeTown is a gaming community founded in mid-2015 with the main goal to unite players with a passion and love for games and gaming. Though the main seat of the community are based in Sweden we gladly accept members from all over the world to make a place for all gamers to play and thrive together.

The community are currently based around the game ARK: Survival Evolved and our very own ARK server. Information about the server aswell as the IP is located under the ARK thread in the discussion forum of this group.

Though ARK is currently our main game we strive to in the future have a broad variety of games which we support and play.

Updating server settings

In the next update we will be doing some updates to the server settings.
Due to increasing the level of the dinos and the amount of time it takes to tame a lvl 90 dinosaur we will be making the taming speed 1.5x. We will also change the amount of damage taken by structures to make them more resistant.

Server update features:

- Taming speed of dinosaurs increased by 1.5x
- Structures now take 30% less damage
- Player food and water drain decreased with 30%

Hello and welcome fellow gamers. This is our brand new steam group for FreeTown Gaming. It is really fun to see so many people in here already but there is still alot of people on the server who haven't found their way to this group yet. So please tell your tribe-mates and new players to join this group.

If you are interested in what's happening with the community and the ARK server keep in mind to visit this group regularly to chek the announcements and the forums. In order not to miss anything important we suggest you make sure to subscribe to the forum threads you are interested in.

Though this group is good for news regarding FreeTown and our server, this is also a place to hang out and talk with friends, so feel free to use the chatrooms and forums to talk with other players about anything you feel.
