This problem is related to Battleeye Updates that have recently been released.

In Order to fix your Problems please follow these steps:

Make sure you are showing hidden files & folders (Control Panel > Folder options) as the Appdata folder will be Hidden by default.

First of all exit the DayZ client and Steam.

STEP ONE: Delete Battleye Folder in Appdata

Find the Battleye folder located in
"C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\DayZ".
Delete this Battleye folder and all it's content entirely.

(To locate directory navigate through explorer or
Press the WINDOWS KEY + E to open explorer > In the adress field write %localappdata%)


STEP TWO: Download BEClient.dll

Go to Battleye[www.battleye.com] and download the 32-bit BEClient.dll for DayZ.
(Save it somewhere easily located, it will be used soon.)


STEP THREE: Replace old BEClient with the new one

Move or copy/paste the downloaded BEClient.dll to a folder named Battleye in the DayZ install directory (replace the already existing BEClient.dll).

The DayZ install directory is by default located at:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ"
(this is NOT the same appdata DayZ/Battleye folder as the one we visited earlier)

(To locate directory navigate through explorer or
Right click DayZ in Steam > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files)

STEP FOUR: Restart your computer

STEP FIVE: Update Battleye

IMPORTANT: Start Steam as administrator
(right click Steam and choose Run as Administrator)

Start DayZ and join a server, BattlEye should update correctly.

Most of you may have noticed, that snap building was not working correctly. It started as i updated it yesterday morning in Order to fix a issue with the counter. If you had a lot of metal floors you wasn't able to snap anymore.

Now i did test it and it seemed like everything was fine, i only first noticed the issues when you told me about it and i'm sorry for that. The main Problem was, that i tried to lower the execution time of the script and then missed to update the latest snapped objects, as it did not do that automatically.

Meanwhile all issues (so i hope) are solved and i continued working on the vehicles that some people requested and i also will continue on the AI Update when i wake up later.

Please be patient with me, as finding the classnames for those ammos is not to easy, neither is the removing of it. The AI update luckily is a lot of copy paste, so that's a fairly easy task which i can do while granting support for all of you and continue on the vehicle ammo.

Now at the moment, if you get to close to AI's they will KOS (Kill on Sight), while if you are far away it is no challenge at all.

This will change, as the Behaviour and skill of each AI will be dependend on their class. While a sniper will be able to spot you from a large distance, say 1200m as example, an ai machine gunner will only be able to spot you on 600m and assault rifle carriers will only spot you on 400m. This will have a large impact on the overall AI Skill, as you will be able to close combat or snipe out the ai.

The aiming acxuracy will chamge for snipers, all others remain untouchded!

Hi all,

at the Moment i got tonns of stuff that i want to get ready and i'm doing all things the same time, that causes trouble sometimes. So from now on i will focus on just one Project and that will become my current Project untill it's done.

Any Suggestions or Modifications etc will be appended to that List, so i will work it from top to bottom.

Please understand, that sometimes some Modifications are quite hard to do, sometimes they need a lot of Time and testing and sometimes it's done within 10 Minutes.

Ofc, like allways i will try to do my best to keep everybody happy and do everything as good and clean as possible.


PS: The Whole scroll wheel actions and Keybindings are meanwhile cleaned up, which was a really necessary task hehe :)

During the next days some files will be slimmed and actions that are non functional or not used will be removed. This has many reasons, such as a faster script execution, better Framerate and just a general nicer Looking Server.

Now please note, that during this process it can happen, that some things might get broke, as some files are that messy, that it's very hard to read them. Just let me know, what is broke please.
