Ghost Hunters

In this update, I added a few new features. The most notable now being the [Q] Menu objectives.

• Low FPS mode, whcih is enabled by default. This reduces the active amount of screens to one. This can be toggled with GH_LowFpsMode convar.
  
  
• Camera feeds are now changed with a new menu when using the screen. This allows you to select the camera feed you want to watch.

• Drastic FPS optimizations. More to come.
  
  
• Added jumping back into the game, with stamina consequence.
  
  
• Nightvision reverted, only technicians can see camera screen nightvision, or if a player is playing alone.

• Objectives menu. This includes new round objectives and a cash reward system.
  
  
• Overhead hover chat. Chat messages now appear in 3D space, falling to the ground and fading away.
  
  
• New evidence folder model!
  
  
• The beginning system for saved polaroid pictures that will be visible to examine evidence captures.

• Polaroid camera position.
  
  
• Removed fireworks from Halloween mode :(

In this update, I focused on a lot of the immediate suggestions and feedback that we received since our release three days ago. I tried to tackle issues centered around performance, learning curve, and balancing.

• GH_RoundTime console command, that allows hosts to change the length of the game without modifying any code.
  
  
• Tutorial page on the technician desk that provides players with useful information.
  
  
• Lanterns that light up the map for a short period of time in the game’s beginning, allowing players to more easily establish lights and cameras.
  
  
• Money displays when near the equipment table.
  
  
• Spawning mid-game now gives a player an evidence tape.

• FPS optimization, primarily around lighting.
  
  
• Centered flashlight angle.
  
  
• Fixed an evidence farming bug for paintings.
  
  
• Admin chat command for setting a player’s money. (!setmoney)
  
  
• Holding a homebase box now emits a glow around the player, for easier navigation.
  
  
• Fixed a global night vision bug, where players could turn each other's cameras off and on.
  
  
• Added a playermodel status text on role selection.
  
  
• Ghost hunters maps are now categorized.
  
  
• Tripod camera night vision now renders for all players, not just the technician.
  
  
• Decreased battery drain by 50%.
  
  
• Increased loot spawn amount.
  
  
• New backgrounds for Garry’s Mod main screen, thanks Furpan!
