Today, hundreds of Partisans are crossing the Volga to drive the remnants of the Fascist Garrison from previously named, Stalingrad. With the German Armor being beaten here previously, it is expected the remnants are soon to fall being driven out of the sector with majority of their force. This bold offensive is expected to be more involved with Urban warfare, as the former tractor factory is seeing the heaviest of fighting with recent suicide charges against the battered German defenders. In the War, this city held out against the Fascist invaders for nearly two full years, like that of Leningrad. But now, we fight here again against the Fascists to drive them out of mother Russia!

Ian Smith, Prime Minister of Rhodesia at 10 am Rhodesian standard time, addressed the Parliament about the American spectre, stating:

"The Americans have gone on for too long repressing the people of south America, it is high time that we, as a free, democratic people do something about this.

We are to engage in talks with leaders of the Southern American nations to see whether, in their interests, it would be better in the USA were neutered."

Rhodesia hereby slanders the USA as a totalitarian regime, no better than the former Bolshevik state of Russia or South Africa.

We call upon all other powers to unite against this behemoth of a foe, to hold fast and have faith in the fact that victory is assured.

The New Pope denouces the Godless Reich

Newspapers across the world annouced the death of Pius XII, and soon after the election of Paul VI. The Church has experienced a major shakeup, as the new Pope has taken to avertly denouce the German Reich despite the tense situation with Italian Authorities.

Paul VI referred to the Greater German Empire as the "Godless Reich", lead by "False Prophets and Heretics" who have "murdered countless Christians in cold blood". The pope zealously declared that "all who consider themselves Christian, whether Catholic or Orthodox, Lutheran or Mormon, Maronite or Miaphysite" must recognize that the false prophets would "see to the destruction of us all and the worship of his false idols!"

The Pope additionally blessed the Russian, French, and Polish peoples and called for continued resistance against the Godless Regime by all good Christians. Word has begun to circulate of a potential of a promise of salvation or even greater, although the pope has not actually said any of these things. It is however clear now that the Church and Reich are clear enemies, and that no agreement between the two could be met now.

The Vicar of Christ, Pius XII, Calls for Peace

Pope Pius XII spoke today calling for peace in the Americas and an end to the conflict between the United States, Argentina, Chile, and the United States of South America. Denoucing the horrors of war that this world has known far too much of in the last century the Pope hopes to see the nations come to a resolution that woul end the suffering of all who reside in the New World.

Vatican begins dialogue with Orthodox Churches

The Vatican has begun to initiate talks with the Greek & Russian Orthoox Churches. No word of what is to develop of these talks has begun, although an air of an attempt at mending the Great Schism has been talked of.

SECRET: Church Properties moved to Rio de Janeiro

A great deal of artifacts and church properties have been moved to Rio de Janeiro, within the Paço de São Cristóvão under the guidance of both Catholic and South American authorities. No reason has been given outside of "tense relations in Europe."

Improved Administration

"With the relatively recent creation of a more sovereign ruling party, the NSOPA, there has been much desire to reform the archaic governance the Berlin Government left us with. Johann Leopold Bechtholdt has worked alongside the Ministry of Dominion to reorganise the governorships of Mittelafrika into a clearly defined collection of states. These states were summarily divided into 7 regions, for easier administration. In this small change of governance, the future of the country has changed to be more autonomous in its running of state affairs.

In other news, Johann Bechtholdt has announced a desire to work alongside the Rhodesian authorities to come to a mutual accord of friendship: perhaps including Rhodesia becoming a protectorate of Mittelafrika to preserve them from the barbaric Communist pigs of South Africa.
