That game got an update. They lied about offline mode. Denuvo is still there.

I gonna buy the game to try if Denuvo is removed and to see if it fun.
I expected mediocre writing though.

Yep it works. SteamDB's links add their own curator ID to the links. It's probably related to their browser extension.

Hey, there's a new anti-cheat called "Any Brain". It's ai, despite that I have a negative view of ai detectors, I dunno if Any Brain Anti-Cheat is good. But I updated some of my Easy Anti-Cheat reviews to say that it's there.

Right after reporting it, a Bethesda dev denied that Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will use Denuvo on release, claiming it was only meant for the review copies. I have some reservations about that announcement but I'll take it.

I'm reporting them for legal violation. Disclosure of DRM encryption and interoperability issues is required by EU law.

It's too bad that WB wised up and locked the Gotham Knights Steam manifest that had the Denuvo-free .exe that they accidentally pushed in an update a while ago.

Gotham Knights is in the curator since October 2022.

i guess its a start, small steps at a time, can eventually lead us to the best destination (where you can buy a game and just get the game, not all the launchers and drms etc) :)

Can't say but one thing is for certain, I don't think i've ever seen so many random private profiles popping all at once in a forum.

I'm gonna laugh if its eventually found that any part of the "controversy" being aimed at Veilguard actually involved any Denuvo employee trying sick freaks against a game company for daring to think they don't need their drm. Its about as intelligent as making a Toxic Positivity Discord and hope that people will just make your good PR for you out of thin air.

heh, that reminds me one of the discords i went to for some website said feedback welcome on discord, but when you go there they dont let you comment untles you give them your phone number so i didnt bother with that

Denuvo has been added to the Metaphor demo, and I think we all know why.

At this point, there are only two possibilities with FFXV:
1- they lost the source code and everyone involved is screwed.
2-they're keeping Denuvo as a way to disable copies of the game due to licensing deals expiring. FFXV resorted heavily to product placement to recoup the pharaonic cost of the whole project and when those deals expire, they probably want to have an easy way to purge any copies featuring those to cover their legal bases.

Can someone tell Square to remove denuvo from FFXV as well,please ?...It's been over six years.....
