Your First Person Perspective Veteran Server

Hello my fellow DayZ-lovers!

Tired of people hiding in or behind objects while camping/observing you? How sleepy it feels hoovering above your character or far away from your vehicle? First person is the only way to play if you ask me. I've been waiting for a hardcore, first person perspective server that gives you real tacitics and a intense convincing feeling for the dayz vanilla mod for quite some time now and I know that there is a big crowd out there that have done the same! As a pure enthusiast in the matter I finally took care of it and started my own server. This server is going to be completely vanilla set in Germany with:

*no scripts/addons/extra missions (Ez-mode is off, boys n girls!)

*no free gifts when you start, vanilla settings on everything including vehicle-spawns (learn the game and it will reward you)

*No crosshair or gps-markers (complete clean UI)

*Hardhitting Zombies. Thats right you cant stand and tank 3 zombies on this server while dealing with your business, thats for sure.

*FIRST PERSON ONLY (and its here to stay)

*J.S.R.S Sound Mod (Super highquality Sound FX, hear gunfights from 1500m, Help installing it can be given in our discord-channel)

*No sidechat

*No deathmessages (you will have to confirm your kills in other ways)

*Spawnselection is turned off! (People will be encouraged to move in to the map from all directions also less Coastal-deathmatch. All this for a dynamic feel and good divercity to the gameplay-experience)

How to get in to the server without issues.

Install Arma 2, Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead and Arma 2: DayZ Mod.
You need to open all 3 games at least once to install it fully with anticheats and everything. After you've done that open Arma2 DayZ mod go in to multiplayer and click "Adress: LAN" until it says "Adress: Internet". Now press the "Remote"-button and copy-paste the IP for the server. You should now see us in the list so just double click and join. The first time you join it will restart your game. Just join us one more time exactly the same way as the first time and now you should get in to the lovely world of Chernarus in First person.

How to join our server

Here is a how to join guide:

Install Arma 2, Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead and Arma 2: DayZ Mod in Steam.
You need to open all 3 games at least once to install it fully with anticheats and everything. After you've done that open Arma2 DayZ mod go in to multiplayer and click "Adress: LAN" until it says "Adress: Internet". Now press the "Remote"-button and copy-paste the IP for the server. You should now see us in the list so just double click and join. The first time you join it will restart your game. Just join us one more time exactly the same way as the first time and now you should get in to the lovely world of Chernarus in First person.

If you decide to join us with the software Dayzlauncher be sure to check the box "Launch dayzmod as steam app" in settings

You still get the message "you where kicked?: Check in your Operation Arrowhead folder if there is a folder named "addons" if there is then remove it.
If thats not the problem then it can be due to Dayzlauncher corrupting your Operation Arrowhead files. Rightclick Operation arrowhead in steam game library -> Go in to properties -> verify files.
Do the same thing with DayZ mod.
If you still get kicked then you will have uninstall all Arma 2 games, check the folders and delete the files that are still there, Now reinstall the game after opening Steam as an administrator. Open all 3 games at least once again to install battleye, and you should know have a helthy Arma installation once again. It all works as long as you have pure files from steam.

¤Known bug: Fades to pitchblack back n forth at nighttime: This is usually solved with having -skipintro in the launchsettings, also have HDR-settings to high/very high in your advanced graphic settings
