Also, the f2p game streaming platforms Antstream Arcade and Piepacker have many Data East games. Many of the Data East games on Antstream aren't available to purchase on Steam.

I bought the Retro Classix games, and they are worth the price to me. They run fine for me, but a lot seem to have trouble with them. They're pretty basic, but the good news is the .zip files of the ROMs are in the game folders, so if you don't like the simplistic 3D room with basic emulator functions you can always just run them in MAME or FinalBurn Neo.

Has anybody been buying these Data East games? Ziggurat and 612 Games have chosen many great Data East classics to re-issue. The problem is these companies have messed up the emulation badly, and I've seen many mentions of refunds. Suffice it to say they aren't exactly selling.

I hope some more-capable company takes on these games. Hamster has shown great emulation skills, but lately their choice of games has gone downhill, and I've seen their leaderboards for recent games barely hit 30 worldwide. I mention this because they also have the rights to G-Mode, but are only releasing for PS4 and Switch (with ACA Neo Geo also on XBox One and Windows 10).
