I was raped when I was 13 or 14. So I really withdrew and avoided pretty much everyone. Spent almost all my time alone. Video games were my main means of escape and today if I'm not careful they still can be.

During those years I became hopelessly addicted to pornagraphy. The internet really made that whole mess worse.

I've done a lot of healing and recovery work the past 3 years and by the grace and mercy of God, I'm more active in serving God in the church through teaching and preaching and working with our youth more than I have ever been before.

I'm also running a Group to help others heal and recover from abuse.

God is good. He's been faithful and I give Him and Him alone all the credit and glory for where my life is now.

Long Version???

Knowing God since then has been, very likely, the only reason I'm alive and kicking today.

God has always been with me. My home was one that was emotionally void. So the kids grew up not really knowing how to handle their emotions etc because Mom and Dad didn't either. Dad was withdrawn and non involved and Mom was over bearing, controlling, and manipulative.

So I grew up with a family, but essentially alone because you really couldn't talk about anything hard or difficult.

I was molested for 9 years, starting when I was 4 or 5. My older sister died when I was 8 (she was 10) and my parents then really withdrew. I was hit by a car when I was 12 and probably shouldn't be alive. Broke both legs in 3 places, severe concussion, doctors weren't entirely sure I'd be able to walk again, but by the grace of God today you'd have no clue that was the case, as I certainly seem normal (well, as normal as I can possibly be).

I was all of 6. Went to a Good New Club run by a Husband and Wife that worked for CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship). Came to know the Lord there at one of their meetings.

So there ya go! The Short of it!

To be honest I was never a very social person until I started going to church and learning about god, and I was really kind of a anti social type of person with not a lot of friends. My life has completely changed and the Lord has given me new desires and goals to achieve such as getting my associates degree in Windows Administration and moving closer to my Dad that I have never really had a relationship with until now. And of course to save the best for last my beautiful , lovely Christian wife who keeps me in line lol

Ok here’s my testimony… its not a fun read but its how I came to know Christ and what he did for me on the cross. I got a job working at a small aircraft sub assembly shop building Learjet nacelles, I didn’t know anyone there so I was the quiet, awkward new guy. Another mechanic who worked down the way on the other side of the shop kept coming over and talking to me every break time which made me feel more welcome since I actually had someone to talk with. We both talked about music and life in general. He invited me to come learn to play guitar for free at a church he attends called Calvary Chapel, so I went and everyone I met were really cool and nice to me, I say that because I thought I would feel out of place since I didn’t go to church at all. The guys teaching guitar were very laid back and patient and I had so much fun two times a week that we met up there that I started attending and going to bible studies....

Started my life in a broken home. I was put into foster care when I was 5 years old. For the next 6 years I was bouncing from foster home to foster home, not believing anyone cared for me, but Jesus. I was a Christian already because of my biological grandmother. I went through some pretty rough experiences in those foster homes, but God is good and I got adopted when I was 11 by a Christian family. I always knew I had a family through the tough times in my childhood because of Jesus. I would pray for about 45 minutes to an hour every night as though Jesus were laying next to me. I made it throu all that on the strength of Christ. Praise Him!
