i was talking to brad, but i figured it was random, i think thats how most people do

oh, and one last comment for now: how do you determine player of the week? game score or just pick favories?

what i'm trying to say is: Oblivian was good, but it wasn't really THAT good. maybe a c+

(i should stop making so many little comments) ultima 4, from the 1980s is better, i mean, at least you can have a party and morality is a major gameplay factor.

honestly, was Oblivian even that great? it was merely one of our first rpg's and we have rose-tinted memories of it. think about it:

it was a buggy, glitchy mess

it had bland combat

the main story sucked

the fantasy world was un-inspired

and every inch of the sprawling fantasy world......looks exactly the same

most of us only played it because it was the closest thing we knew to grand theft auto, and fallout (even the 2-d ones) was better in every category but graphics.

being scary isnt bad

besides, you said half-life was scary once.

it's better than bioshock

Ive heard of system shock and it sounds like a creepy game

if you dont know who looking glass is, go look up System Shock and see what i'm talking about. it's one of my top ten best games ever and i available for free if you can use DosBox

bethesda is great and all, but i cant help but miss Origin, Interplay, Looking glass and others
