An unusual practice

For our last practice session on Sunday, before the actual event, I'm looking to set us up against a russian high-div 6 player mix.

All of them will have played highlander competitively before, so they know our side of the game just as well as the 6p side.

It will help us a lot to know what works against a comp team and what does not in advance, as opposed to sacrificing several Granary rounds to figure out the best approach.

The actual 6v9 event is due at 20 CET. The practice match should take place at roughly 18 cet, leaving us with some time to rest and prepare for the actual event.

Homework :P

Since we dont have anything scheduled today here is some homework for the class ;)

Some points of interest are:

The pros all over mid at badlands. We wont be on badlands but I'm sure the pros will be fast to mid and very agressive.

Their use of kritz. A likely strategy that we may face against a very agressive team looking to clean up before we have a uber ready. I think we need to have a plan of action for if they are running uber or kritz and be practiced in both. Daff can tell us which gun the medic is using at the start of the round so we wont be going into mid blind.

Offclassing. Pretty sure we will see at least a heavy and a sniper. Be ready for a spy and sneaky sentry at times though. If you see it call it out.

and controlling the PL maps. I think here is where the pub team traditionally have had a greater advantage. We did pretty well the other night. Keep the cart moving and swarm forwards :D
