the music is the best ♥

While the game is an interesting concept, the optimization of the game is so bad that I can't find any reason to suggest it to others. It took half an hour of messing with system settings and game settings to get this to work, and based on online posts, I'm not the only one. Until this is resolved, do not purchase it.

The walkiest walking simulator I ever did walk.

A very pretty 'game' to walk around in. The world/level is one of the best natural-looking designs I've ever seen.
The pastoral British town and countryside are very lifelike and enjoyable to look at.
It's also one of the most quintessential walking simulators I've ever seen, by which I mean that there's basically nothing for the player to do.
The only mechanic of note is a kind of sliding 'puzzle' which kind of perplexed me for a minute.
At the bottom of the screen was a prompt which showed the mouse moving from left to right and vice versa.
Doing that did nothing though, what was actually necessary was to move the object to a specific spot on the invisible X axis line almost like a lockpicking mechanic. I assume this is a case of something being lost in translation from controller to KB+M. I'm guessing on the controller the rumble function would originally have made it clear what you were supposed to do.

Audio-wise the game is pretty good as well, the voice acting is very good and what music there is is also very nice.

The story (or interwoven stories), I enjoyed for about 95% of it. Near the end it became too philosophical for me, I would've preferred if they had leaned more into the sci-fi/supernatural aspect of the story.
The achievements are, IMO, badly designed. There aren't that many of them and a lot of them have you wait for several real-time minutes in different locations. I'm sorry, but that's just not fun.

Would I recommend it?
That's always a tricky one with walking simulators because it's very much a niche genre.
For most people I'd probably say no, simply because there's not enough 'game' in here.
I also wouldn't tell people to avoid it though, it just think there are more fun games in this genre.
If however you're a fan of the genre and have already gone through most of them, it's pretty and has a decent story.
I suppose it's very much a 'your mileage may vary' kind of game.
