Not really a good game. I played the first one a couple of years ago and remember it being good, but this one... Here are a few reasons why:

* The game is kinda bugged. In some parts I simply could not pass and had to watch walkthroughs just to realize my game was bugged in some strange way and it was not like in the walkthrough;
* I don't think the puzzles are very satisfying in a sense that you feel smart solving them (like in Portal 2 for instance). Most of the time is just playing with the scene and looking for something that you're missing;
* The weapon and loot system is very awkward. The game has 20 weapons or so but they're pretty much all the same. You really can't tell the difference between two different bows;
* Also related to the weapons is the combat, which is tremendous easy if you pick a easy/medium difficulty or impossible at hard difficulties. You have a lot of easy ways of killing the enemies and the combats really feel super generic. I challenged myself to try only using the bow and hitting headshots to try make the game funnier, but the combats really sucked. Moreover, the skills you learn through the game, like the weapons, really don't feel like a meaningful upgrade or any kind of game changer. I feel like I could pass any combat without any skill at all.
* The story is ok, but some particular points just don't make any sense. For instance, (spoiler alert) in the final boss fight, there's a cutscene where the boss grabs your bow from your back. Then, then the game returns, you have NO weapon. Like how the ♥♥♥♥ he got my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rifle, pistol and shotgun? It really breaks anyone's immersion.
* Finally, picking the documents/relics also isn't really rewarding and satisfying. First because some of them you really just can't reach at the particular point in the history you're, so you need to pretty must finish the game and them return to old areas to loot those. Second because the game was SEVERAL multiplayer achievements so even if you really liked the game and think "hey, I want to get all the achievements of this game", you won't be able to do it without playing the multiplayer (which I think now-a-days must have like a really small player base).


If this is the first time I rate a game in Steam with a "Not recommended", so that's why I felt it deserved a very good explanation.
