I wanted this game to be as great as it is beautiful. I haven't written any reviews because i wanted so badly for it to make a come back. I've never seen so many flops back to back. The first one was literally at its launch. In order to combat this new inlfux of "would be players", they prevented new players from even getting in. It capped its player base from the start. Steams activity would have been higher if they Devs had not made the decision of shutting down the ability to become a new player. This was in addition to a waiting time to get into the server. Its lack of care, and the dev team constantly choosing the most predatory option made it bad. All the beautiful artowrk and incredible music can not cover up the massive ♥♥♥♥ it was resting on. It insults your time and asks the question when is this all going to be shut down?? Is any of this worth playing for?

if you are a new player coming in now, instead of making the new player experience any easier., they just hit you with catch up gear with no end in sight. Surely I will catch up to play with everyone else soon? Right? The gap keeps not closing. Mario on the infinite stairs.

This game is a shameful cash grab. A cartoon facade for gambling.

-TOS has the worst Engrish translation I have ever seen in a game since "All Your Base Are Belong To Us"
-The game will often crash on launch if there a more than a few hundreds of players already in-game.
-The lag is often bad when lots of people/groups run Challenge Mode/DCP at the same time.
-The grind is so bad, I spent 12 hours killing max-level mobs at +300% XP only to get ONE level.
-The whales will look down upon you when you try and join a group or guild.
-Cash Shop items are VERY expensive, about 5$ for a hat and 20$ for a costume.
-This game is designated as an MMO, yet there are so few players you might think it stands for Male Masochist Online.

All in all, the perfect Korean Corporate-Grind Simulator.

P.S.: Just in case this wasn't obvious enough : DON'T BUY/PLAY THIS GAME. IT IS NOT FUN.

I know this game is not that great but i like the style, the art, the gameplay of this game. So i recommend

I started playing during paid-beta (Founder Access 2016) & logged a lot of hours over two accounts.
The game took a nose-dive after (free-to-play) public release, servers being over ran with bots. I quit soon after.

Came back in 2021 to check out Re:Build. Class progression changed & a lot of my builds were no longer optimal. Trying to test new builds is a cycle of spending real-money for skill-reset potions. There is a few free options around the Micro-transactions but it is heavily time-gated.

So before playing the game you need to do thesis level research of how to play the game. Mistakes cost real money or a lot of time.

I was thinking the rest of Rebuild would be akin to Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn, an overhaul to fix broken gameplay aspects. Rebuild is more of a rework, that made things more complicated. You have to pick 3 job classes, no going into the same class. Stat points are still there, but you get attribute points ontop of them. Silver no longer drops from monsters, but another currency does--but it can't be used in the market place. Overall it made me miss 1.0, which wasn't all that great to begin with.

had some issues at the start, and as long the servers are stable, you should definately try it out!
