(Windows 11) When I press play on Steam literally nothing happens for 3-4 seconds, then the Play button is green again, so the game cleanly shut down. Literally nothing happens, no errors. Any tips how to launch the game?

I'm playing with Russia. Prussia is my Ally. I've taken over Aabo, Finland. France is actually getting it's ass kicked in the middle of Europe. Lossing territories in actual France even. Two fully equipped and trained French armies appear near Saint Petersburg and capture it. Apparently nobody bothered them from Paris to Saints Petersburg as they're struggling in the middle of Europe. Go F yourselves devs.......

I have to watch Sardinia piedemont move their single units for 10 minutes or something everytime I end my turn, there doesn't seem to be any fast forward button. What can I do?

I recently viewed a Utube regarding how to use GRENADIERS to break line infantry. It discussed, in some detail, how and when to throw the grenades. So, I asked myself: what grenades? I haven't seen any grenades available to my guys nor have any enemy units used them against me. WHAT GIVES?...
