man this is bad

Yet another defunct game. What is with developers abandoning their games and leaving gamers to try to figure out ridiculous workarounds to solve core issues. This game has a "multithread" issue which requires me to boot my PC in 4 cores or less because my computer is too advanced by having more than 4 cores? This honestly makes no sense. This is the second Spiders game I wanted to check out on PC, for modding to improve an otherwise mediocre game based on most reviews I've read, but the developers seem to really be failing in more than just the quality of the gaming content, but also in fundamentals of game distribution and accessibility.

Why would anyone want to spend hours trying to troubleshoot and search for solutions to play a game when they could just play a better game that is optimized and accessible to the masses. I play games to enjoy them, not to find workarounds and half-baked solutions to a developer issue. Unfortunate, because I want to support small RPG game developers as that is how many of the greats started out. I'll have to see if they can fix this sort of thing with future games I suppose.
