In anticipation for our upcoming demo, we are happy to invite you to our first Closed Alpha Playtest!

Until January 20th, register to join our exclusive playtest and share your thoughts! The spots are limited so we can read and take comments in account properly but your inscription and participation are invaluable.
It will help us immensely if you could play and share your feedbacks.

Greetings future Monarchs and happy new year!

Welcome to our very first Architects Log (which is a fancy word for Dev Log that I just came up with)

With the end of 2024, we look forward to our next adventure but before that, we also want to thank you and take a look back to our incredible journey so far!

And what-a-ride!

This year, we ended with a bang at PC Gaming Show with our trailer finally out in the world and we can proudly say that “we built something beautiful” and we will continue to build something to be proud of!

2025 will also start with a demo coming soon and more announcements to come!

Our adventure started in June 2022 with the creation of Irregular Shapes and part of the team joined Rémi on October 2023, growing from 4 people to 11 talented members.

We had one dream and a woodcutter’s axe… and ideas for organic districts creation while your inhabitants would create roads.

So it was natural for us to create a type of game we were passionate about: A City-Builder.

Back in the days, the project was called “Land of Medieval Cities” (very original, much wow) and houses looked like Golden Grahams in a green field.
With some interesting results… (no cows were harmed in the process!)

Influence area and resources will be at the core of our city-builder and we are working hard to improve and shape the economy system. We wanted to have a meaningful system, tied to our district mechanics that could evolve with your actions.
It might seems overwhelming but you will not be alone ! Several companions will join you in your journey. The narrative twist is here to embody the evolution of your city. As you progress, your story will too and your decision will affect those who gravitate around you one way or another!

The Advisor is the first figure you will meet (but we have many more to come!) He has changed quite a bit over the past few years (and you might recognize him from somewhere…)

The highlight of the year? On December 5th, we officially revealed *City Tales - Medieval Era* during the PC Gaming Show!



We are currently putting the finishing touches on a playable demo of City Tales - Medieval Era, which will be available very soon.

From the bottom of our heart, we want to thank you for being part of this journey—we can’t wait to share what’s next with you!

2025 will be the year we bring our little gem to you, players, and we will continue together!
