Too expensive, almost no content, voicelines don't change between levels.
The dash jump in Stage 3 was impossible to do on keyboard on release, but it was fixed, adding yet new crashes to the platformer part of the game.

The secret platformer is actually pretty refined and fun to play. 5 Levels is not too little content, but for 7€ it's not worth it. The entire game should be around 3€. It's pretty much a minigame from the petit game collection.

Overall, very unfinished game, I hope they add more content to it, like an endless mode to the typing game, maybe even a leaderboard, more levels, more words, more dialogues, a "wordbook" to check all the lingo and its meanings, maybe even some training modes.

Buy it on sale, don't buy it right now.

If you think the game is too short, pay attention to the credits, dummy

(EDIT) The bug previously mentioned in this review a certain impossible dash-jump climbing section in Stage 3 of EN if you were bound to keyboard controls has now been patched on the following day and the game mechanics work as intended, the difference is really noticeable too

It's a good spin-off game, yet buggy and too short.

The typing game only has three levels, and the only real difference is the music from each one and the background. It's something lazy coming from the devs but it was still fun trying to get S rank in each one anyway. I liked the artstyle, music and the kangel's dialogs for each word you type.

The main focus from this game is the "secret mode" with 5 levels. The problem is: the controls are kinda janky and it's pretty buggy playing on the keyboard, to the point that i wasn't able to use a skill properly to progress. I got stuck in some areas because of this and I had to play with my controller so it could work. If you don't have one avoid buying this game until there's a bugfix patch for this.

I recommend this game on sale at a lower price. The game is too expensive for what it offers.

honestly, this should be free. it's cool that it comes with an entire platformer but the actual typing game I paid for was about 8 minutes long. i was actually looking forward to this because i like typing, but there's only 3 very short and easy stages. sorry ame

This game is unfinished, christ -- like, the base game would be fine if it was free, but ouch...
In addidtion, the subgame (ENDLESS NIGHTMARE) is also seemingly unfinished -- the p-cats they used for the tutorial were just left in at the start despite there being an actual tutorial up ahead (???)

also -- main game is really easy, even if that's not the point. I get I type 183wpm/204wpm (60s/15s, Monkeytype) but still, 66% of people S-ranking the first level (of which there are only 3, and all seem to pull from the same wordlist and have no differences in dialogue between them) feels like a bit much...?

Game is definitely not worth the current price, you can do basically everything in the game in like an hour and a bit if you're solid at typing and familiar with platformers. The typing aspect of the game lasts literally like 10 minutes, and honestly was kinda charming (though a bit generic) and wish it was its own full game with a bit more expanded dialogue more art and music etc. The platformer was okay, i think the pixel art was really nice, though the game only has one track and it does kinda drill in your head after like 2 stages and its just a chiptune remix of INTERNET YAMERO. I did see people complaining about a dash jump on stage 3 but honestly it didnt pose any challenge maybe some people just aren't used to platformers? In all honesty this game definitely is not worth the price tag it should be like at most 3 dollars considering just how little content there is and how much of said content is either reused from NSO or haphazardly thrown together. It feels like this game was announced back in december with literally a one month deadline to hit so they could put it out for the 3 year anniversary. If you like the original NSO you probably wont even get a kick out of this because outside of the 8 minute segment in the typing game there's basically none of the iconic Ame or KANGEL characterisation in the platformer, there's no dialogue and the game honestly just feels like a really basic tech demo platformer with an NSO coat of paint thrown over it.

Finished the game in like 30 min. it isnt worth your time or money. I love the OG game but this game doesn't give you any extra lore or new information
