I've played for over 700 hours, and I still can't get past the first raid. Is there a trick to it, or is the game unbeatable?

Dungeon Sunset Prison, 41 times completed with 0 special gear (Weapon: Heartrender) dropped. Is there any hidden conditions related to the dropping?

I'm on my first restart after unlocking glory, I am level 11 and the only quest i currently have is to complete a dungeon, the problem is that the dungeon map is empty. The Skull just brings up a blank menu. I have looked through the shop to see if there is anything in there to unlock the dungeons but i cannot see anything. Is this a glitch or am I missing something....
