I only recommend this game to those who play it solely for the story and do not care about the gameplay or the graphics.
The main issues with this game lie in the graphics and the gameplay mechanics, which feel very outdated.
It use tank controls. While focusing on the story, QTEs often appear and divert your attention.

This game is too smart for you, too smart for all of us! Is it good? Is it bad? I don't know and neither do you! David Cage doesn't play by the rules of us mere mortals.

I don't remember when I saw the light. Perhaps it was after Lucas got punched by an angel statue or when he turned into a reanimated corpse, got into a matrix-style fight on a roof top and then had ice-cold corpse-sex with the female protagonist after masterfully seducing her in a cemetary within 5 minutes. At some point the David-Cageness truly overwhelmed me. 🙏

What the hell does it mean? Is it brilliant? Is it stupid? Why are there Cyborgs? What would Nietzsche say? - I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea. I'm sure David would know. He put a Nietzsche book in the game, that means it's deep. I just don't know! And that's beautiful...right?

How do you keep doing it Dave? And how can we stop you? ...Should we stop you? 🤔 - Can such boundless hypothetical sophistication even be stopped?

That was definitely THE EXPERIENCE.
