We are excited to reveal that we are bringing Hawthorn to Kickstarter! Our Kickstarter Coming Soon page is live and will be premiered later today during the Women-Led Games Showcase - The Game Awards Edition! Please follow us on this Kickstarter journey as we build this nostalgic world for all to enjoy!

Looks cute but i'm concerned about AI

I added the game to my wishlist right as I saw it but then noticed it has AI involved. I'm curious whether it's generative AI profiting off stolen work or some other kind of machinery? If it's the first one, i'm probably dropping the game from my wishlist D:...

We’re thrilled to share that we'll be hosting our first-ever developer Q&A session in our Discord[www.discord.gg] server on Dec. 10th from 3:00 - 4:00 PM EST!

Our Director of Community & Creator Relations and host for this event, Andy Belford, will be joined by the following panel guests for this initial session focused on who we are as a studio:

Wishlisted and then removed

No AI in games development, please. I don't care if you "promise" not to use AI assets in the game or that humans will retouch what's generated. Looks like it could be a fun game but any AI assisted product is an instant refusal for me.

Bloomberg has a big sob story write up about this ridiculous developer.
