Server Consolidation

In order to normalize player distribution across our current servers and provide you with a stable and refreshed experience, we are making the following adjustments to our servers over 3 phases. The auction house will be consolidated on February 6 PT, followed by an open transfer period from February 13 PT until February 27 PT, and the server consolidation on February 27 PT. Look forward to additional buffs, daily login rewards, and more throughout the open transfer window.

We will publish a follow up article at the end of next week outlining each server’s consolidation plan and grouping. Here’s an overview of what to expect throughout each phase of the consolidation.

1) Auction House Consolidation

Following maintenance on February 6 PT, regional auctions houses will be consolidated for early access and full launch servers. Players within each region will use a single combined auction house to list and purchase items. Please note this does not apply to PlayStation 5-only servers. Platform specific servers will continue to have a separate auction house. Please note maintenance downtime will be longer than usual.

Item information registered in Favorites as well as Historical item prices on all servers will also be reset.

2) Open Transfer Period

Following maintenance on February 13 PT, all characters will be able to purchase one free server transfer per character from the in-game shop. Transfer cool-downs will be reset for all characters and temporarily reduced to 72 hours. Players may choose to transfer to any eligible server during this period. We’ll also remove early access tags from servers.

At the end of the free-transfer period on February 27 PT, all characters remaining on consolidation servers will be transferred automatically to the new server. No manual action is required. Character transfer cool-downs will also be reverted back to the standard 30 days.

All-day buff support

All characters on all servers will receive the following buffs for the duration of the open transfer period from February 13 PT until February 27 PT.

Sollant Buff: Gain 20% more Sollant from hunting monsters.
Mastery Buff: Gain 50% more Mastery experience from all sources.

Daily login rewards

Log in each day from February 13 PT until February 27 PT to get everything from consumables to Epic weapons! Different Check-In rewards will be available daily, including the memorable Title: Star-traveler and Brawler Captain Dentwerp Amitoi.

Note: Check-In will reset every day at 6:00AM local server time.

Reward Details

3) Server Consolidation

On February 27, 12PM PT, all characters remaining on any server marked for consolidation will be transferred to the new server. Maintenance will begin earlier than usual to allow for additional support and the new server's opening time is subject to change during stability testing.

As a result of the server consolidation, rankings, including leaderboards and ownership of Boonstone/Riftstone/Castle-owning guilds, will be reset.
Please note that chat history and blocks will also be reset.
Residual taxes from the to-be consolidated servers will be combined and transferred to the unified server.

Siege Warfare Legion Selection and Schedule

The date of the first post-consolidation siege and when the legion guild will be selected will be included in our follow-up article at the end of next week.
The guild with the highest confirmed guild ranking prior to the Siege will become the Legion or defending guild.
The selected guilds will be announced separately after confirmation and designation.

Character possession information (Guardians, Morphs, Amitoi, Equipment Lithograph Books, etc.)

Content access points (Abyssal Contract Tokens, Dimensional Contract I/II Tokens, Resistance Contract count, Lawless Zone time, etc.)
Shop character purchase limit
All currencies, including Lucent
Personal Relationships (Friends, Feuds, Interests, Blocked)

Character-Owned Items
The following will be retained:

Equipped items and inventory/Storage items
Equipped/stored Runes
Mail and unclaimed items in the mailbox

Costumes, weapon appearances, and emotes in the Mirror Boutique

Guild Info
The following will be retained:

Guild name, level, and members
Guild EXP and Contract history
Guild kill records and relationship/distribution/administration records
The following will reset:
Guild members' Reputation in the last 7 days

Ranking Info
The following will be reset:

Activity/Kill ranking score
Guild ranking score reset
Guild level will be retained, but the ranking will be recalculated based on the newly accumulated Guild/Guild Member Activity Points.

Auction House
The following will be retained:

Items registered in Auction House on the existing server will be moved to the new server.
Sold items and unsold items

The following will be reset:

Market price
Favorite item info

Server Environment
The following will be reset:

Boonstone/Riftstone-owning guilds
Castle Legion
Lucent/Sollant taxes from the old servers will be totaled and credited to the new server castle.
Growth rankings will be recalculated on the merged server with information from the target servers.

Chat History
The following will be reset:

All chats, including characters on the merged servers
Block history reset
Character profile deselected
After the consolidation, if you manually select a transferred character or log in to the game without one selected, your profile will be automatically selected.

In-game chat
The following will be reset:

All chats that include characters on the merged servers will be reset.
Block history reset

Other
The following will be retained:

Personal pin info
Crafting Favorites
Quick slots and game settings

Additional Battle Pass experience upon reaching level 50 will be converted into Star Crystals. Ornate Coins

Looking for recommendations on how to spend your Ornate Coins? Here are some suggestions:

Precious Blessing Pouch grants you 2 Resistance Contracts and 1 Rare or Epic piece of gear you may not have in your inventory. After purchasing the pouch, you can check out the list of possible items. Your most sought-after weapon or armor might be waiting for you.
Precious Active Skill Growth Book can be purchased in case you’re having trouble crafting or finding more of them throughout your adventures. Skill Books are valuable resources to grow your abilities’ power.
Looking to increase your gear’s potency? Precious Weapon Growthstone, Precious Armor Growthstone, and Precious Accessory Growthstone are all available in exchange for Ornate Coins.
If your hero’s gear and skills are already at their highest potential, you can spend your Ornate Coins on unique Amitoi. These are especially helpful for Amitoi Expeditions or if you aim to collect them all.
More interested in appearances? Look into the selection of extra titles like "Kind of a Big Deal" or "Trendsetter" to better match your character’s look and feel.

THRONE AND LIBERTY Update 1.13.0

THRONE AND LIBERTY Update 1.13.0 downtime will begin at 9:30PM PT (5:30AM UTC) on January 22 and last approximately 6.5 hours. With festive decorations like a giant cobra statue in every village, the year of the snake has come to Solisium. Find the full list of changes and fixes listed below.

Event: Lunar Celebration

Join the Lunar Celebration event after maintenance completes on January 23 until the start of maintenance on February 5 for event-specific daily login rewards. Gather New Year Coins from various activities and then exchange your spoils at the event store for unique loot, including a Food Coma emote, Fortune’s Chosen title, and Wisdom Seeker Profile frame.

Daily Login Rewards

Log in daily for rewards like event bait, Blue Snake Scales, New Year Coins, and New Year's Cards.
Acquire Blue Snake Scales and then interact with the cobra statue in each village to receive a Lucky Red Envelope for Sollant.

New Year Coins

New Year Coins can be obtained from:

Resistance Contracts (excluding Item Contracts)
Dynamic Event performance rewards (Can only be received once during the same Dynamic Event period)
Level 50+ Archbosses and Field Bosses
1-Star Co-op Dungeon Chests (Trials I)

Event Buffs

Acquire New Year Coins and interact with the event NPC (Lunar-25) for temporary, event-specific buffs. Visit Lunar-25 before entering any abyssal or co-op dungeons to capitalize on the following bonuses:

Happy Lunar Buff: increased Sollant, increased Abyssal Contract Token Efficiency, and additional Mastery Efficiency. This buff will not stack with Attack/Defense/Hybrid (Combat) buffs.
Lucky Lunar Buff: Boss Heavy Attack and Boss Critical Hit Chance. This buff will not stack with currency or experience buffs.

Notable Updates

A new Currency tab has been added to the Inventory UI. This tab holds currency-type items across multiple gameplay sources, reducing the amount of items that need to be held in your inventory or storage. Existing currency items in player inventory and storage chests have been converted automatically to the new currency tab format.
Party Member List: Numbers assigned to party members now update when the party member list is reordered.
Field Bosses: War mode Field Bosses now display a UI element showing each guild's contribution percentage.
Shadowed Crypt: The same chests that spawn at night on Saurodoma Island now also spawn at various locations in Shadowed Crypt.
Crafting NPCs in each town can now craft up to Epic tier items, making it so higher-tier crafting is available in all cities.
Guild Buffs: Added three new types of Guild buffs, boosting Weapon Mastery, Cooking and Fishing experience, or offering guild member resurrection in a small radius outside of Dungeons or Arenas.
Guild Buffs: Removed the standard experience buff from the list of available guild buffs.
Guild Buffs: Adjusted the Sollant and Abyss Contract Token Efficiency buffs to provide greater benefit over a longer duration.
Dimensional Trials: Killing bosses in Dimensional Trials now offers the same boss loot chest available from the Dungeon version.
Siege: Future Castle Siege events will take place at 20:00 (8:00pm) server time in each region, instead of 16:00 (4:00pm).
Rune System: Expanded the capacity of the Rune Bag to 300 slots.
Weekly Reset: During this maintenance, the weekly content reset time will shift 2 hours, to take place during maintenance windows (08:00 UTC).

General

Character: You can now edit current stats instead of fully resetting them, allowing you to adjust the current values without having to re-spend all points.
Items: Food: In some cases, multiple food buffs from the same category could be active at the same time unintentionally. Now only Miscellaneous (experience gain type) food buffs can have multiple active effects at the same time.
Amitoi Expedition: Fixed an issue that occasionally prevented Amitoi expeditions from completing properly at the end of their timer.
Map: Removed the ability to track players from your friends, target of interest, and hostile lists through minimap icons.
Map: Added weather forecasts to zone information on the World Map.
Arena: Purification Stones once again work in arenas.
Events: Tax Delivery: Available times to schedule the Tax Delivery event have been adjusted to avoid overlap with certain Dynamic Events that could change the stats of the Tax Delivery Golem.
Cooking: The cooking recipe system unintentionally reverted to the multi-quality output version in a prior update. This has been corrected, and cooking recipes once again produce increased quantities of meals instead of different qualities when crafting.
Controller: Gate of Infinity: Fixed an issue preventing collection of ranking rewards from Gate of Inifinity when using a controller.
Controller: Dimensional Trials: Fixed an issue preventing controllers from adjusting the tier of Dimensional Trial when creating a Party Board recruitment.
Spear: Gale Rush: Fixed an issue where the CC removal specialization would sometimes not apply when targeting allies at a distance.
Spear: Gale Rush: Fixed an issue that could prevent Gale Rush from being used on enemy targets at slightly higher elevations than the attacker.
Field Boss: Ahzriel: Adjusted a location that incorrectly retained Peace status during War mode Ahzriel.
Syleus' Abyss: Adjusted a barrier wall preventing two piton points from being accessible for traversal below the Eastern room.
Torture Chamber of Screams: Fixed an issue that caused Shadow of Screams to not properly follow players if they had been pushed with collision skill effects.

UI

Inventory: Closing your inventory after opening a container with item rewards will now also close the acquired item popup.
Items: Tooltips for gear with set bonuses now indicate which items in the set you have equipped.
Guild Raids: Adjusted display of guild raids to clearly show participation rewards versus boss loot rewards.
Items: Creating a Lithograph from an item in your inventory will no longer display an untradeable result in the pre-crafting window.
Chat: Added additional Chat settings to the settings menu, including expanded chat color options.
Mirror Boutique: Added more view angle range to the camera so you can now view your character from more different angles.
Sprouts and Sages: Adjusted the display of qualifications for the Sprouts and Sages system.
Adventure Codex: Unclaimed rewards from Adventure Codex completion should trigger UI notifications more reliably.
Settings: Added the option to hide the item comparison keybind hints at the bottom of equipment tooltips.
Fishing Codex: Minor adjustments to the display of caught fish stats and sizes.
Skill Conversion: You can now un-select a selected skill used to open the Skill Conversion window.
Chat: Adjusted the color of 'Share in Chat' links for dungeons to make it more readable.
Targeting: Fixed an unintended interaction between selecting party members from the party UI while the 'Cancel Selection by Clicking Ground' setting was active.
Trait Window: Now displays the list of current traits when viewing the Convert/Unlock Trait submenus.
Equipment Presets: Added an option to remove an equipped item from all presets if you have it saved to multiple presets.

Normal vs. Random Matchmaking?

New player here... Can someone explain the difference between normal and random matchmaking for the co-op dungeon? Based on past experience, I assume that normal is "I want to run this dungeon and am willing to wait 20 minutes for the defender and support to join the group," and random means "I want to run this dungeon but will run any dungeon because participating gets me this bonus chest that gives me the coin I'm grinding for anyway." My experience is that I wait 20 minutes to find a group when I do no...

This game had potential and it's really pretty, but it’s completely ruined by bad design and a toxic community. At first, the grind is kind of fun, but it doesn’t take long to realize how repetitive and overwhelming it gets. Every update just adds more stuff to your daily list, and unless you have no life, there’s no way to keep up. The new rune grind is especially ridiculous, and contracts are so boring and repetitive. The content they add is just low quality, grind fest, nothing worth your time. It's not surprising so many people already quit and server are dying left and right.

The community is honestly the most toxic I’ve seen in any MMO. Ofc there are some nice people, but most players are either hostile, no lifers with superiority complex or just straight-up bullies. PvP is the main focus, and while there’s some PvE, it’s really just there to get you geared for PvP. And unless you’re spending real money on Lucent, you’re basically stuck at the bottom. Whales dominate the game, and form big guild alliances who control everything, so if you’re not in with them, good luck getting quality PvP content, not to mention world Boss gear.

Even if you’re in a top guild, the time commitment is insane. It’s like having a second job with no real payoff, just the same content over and over and over again. I really tried giving it a chance but I don't hate myself enough to keep playing. Just skip it and go play WoW.
