Amazing stealth, but the worst combat ever seen in an Assassin's Creed game.

One of the weakest prologues in an Assassin's Creed game ever. That awe-inspiring and excited feeling you get when starting a new adventure with Ezio and his brother at the top of the tower you just raced him to? Not here. You're just sort of rushed in to being initiated into the Brotherhood, like it was an afterthought.

That's not why I'm giving it a negative review though; I feel like I've played this game before, and I have. Apart from the music and the location, nothing seems to have changed from Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla. The movement and parkour is sluggish, the combat is clunky, and Basim just doesn't have any relatable or likeable characteristics to him. There's a lot of re-used assets and gameplay mechanics here too but the core attraction of this game is definitely its location.

Of course, I didn't give the game long enough to provide a more substantial review, and I might be wrong about a few things that could potentially change as the game graduates, but it's a rare occurrence when the prologue outlines everything objectively wrong with a game before continuing further.
